Maryland family claims $26M Mega Millions lottery jackpot
Winner chooses to remain anonymous
At approximately 10 p.m. Tuesday evening, before going to bed, a Mt. Airy, Maryland, man jokingly told his fianc e they were going to wake up as millionaires. One hour later, while they were sound asleep, that premonition became a reality.
When the woman woke up the next morning, she went online to check her tickets and realized they were $26 million richer. Before calling her fianc , she had her daughter check the numbers on the ticket, too.

First to 100 million
Actually, I think the Mega Millions cash jackpot is growing faster than the Powerball cash jackpot, and if the PB cash jackpot reflected actual sales now, Mega Millions cash would be higher, and the annuities would be about the same. PB only grows faster at this point because of its guaranteed $10 million rollovers. I predict that even if Powerball has no winner, its jackpot won't increase by more than $10 million per draw until at least next month.

40 million dollar powerball winners
I will get right back in it at 40,000,000 for Saturday. I play the mega millions, powerball and the state Lotto every drawing no matter the jackpot. I do like the starting jackpot of the powerball of 40 verses the 12 on the mega millions and my state starts at 1 it takes it forever to get anywhere.

Mega Millions Jackpot Increases To $13 Millions From $12 Millions On November 06, 2012.
And who is to say that $12 million or $13 million is NOT life-changing? Mega Millions and Powerball do not need to compete now that they are under the same umbrella. Players who seek the thrill of higher jackpots that climb faster can play Powerball, and those who are content with lower but still life-changing multi-million dollar jackpots can play Mega Millions... and many people will play both.

Mega Millions Jackpot Increases To $13 Millions From $12 Millions On November 06, 2012.
Powerball can do that for $2 with a $40 Millions starting jackpot. Mega Millions jackpots are not keeping up with inflation. Mega Millions starting jackpots need to be $40M like Powerball or higher in order to bring a higher playership.

Winning The Lottery Is A Mind Game.
He imagined himself winning a Mega Millions Jackpot someday and he won $32M. He did not have a job when he won the jackpot.
He played the lottery more often for less lines. He played no more than $1 per drawing on Mega Millions.

mega millions win in california
I guess they can afford to pay out that other 1 million dollar ticket winner that is being investigated...But anyways, the constant jackpot wins for california makes me wonder, these lotteries can't be completely honest if its always california or new york winning all the time. I would love to be invited to look over these drawings in person.
