There was a guy on one of those Lottery Made Me Rich shows that said he did that so I am pretty sure it is possible. If I recall he won maybe close to $200 million also so it was either a Mega Millions or Powerball jackpot. The Mega Millions is not a state run lottery so I don't think they would have to adhere to the regulations of a particular state anyway.

With the price of a powerball ticket being 2 dollars more people will take a chance on Mega Millions. I don't think powerball will ever break the record that was just set by Mega Millions.

How much would Mega Millions be on Tuesday April 3 if not hit Friday? 800 million?
I don't see another rollover but if it did the jackpot would first be estimated at 700 million then 750 million then 800 million by the time all the tickets have been bought.
