Lottery winner gives away £12 million in one week
Talk about spreading the love! More power to her... Here in the states, you would be taxed into oblivion with such generosity...I would definitely hook up my kids, If I won tonight's P.ball, Each would get a 3Million dollar trust for their 21st birthday, So we could see them enjoy it instead of having to wait until we are gone... Until then each would get a full-ride to any college in the country. As for the rest of the family, it would be paying off all of their bills (a nice way around the gif

Ohio Super Lotto 02/25/04...$10M
Quote: Originally posted by RJOh on February 26, 2004 Ohio lottery popularity declined when the State decided to limit the amount that one ticket could win to $20M. They reversed that decision some months later but by then it was too late, other games that payed more had taken the lead and Ohio tickets sales were down. Ohio had to join one of the multi-state games to get ticket sales up again. PowerBall has decided to limit jackpot size at a certain point and increase the 2nd prize amount, bu

worldjackpots for euro lotto players
its a good choice to play worldjackpots.heres its introductionThe other advantage of being entered in major JACKPOTS-ONLY Draws is that ALL cash prizes are bigger. More people want to play when Jackpots have accumulated, so more money goes into the prize pool - often at the last moment - if stories appear on TV and in the press. This means more money is shared among ALL WINNERS in that Draw. So not only is the First Division Prize bigger - the Second, Third and Fourth Division Prizes are ALL

Lottery Pools - Your Thoughts??
GuideMe,Do you work for or have an agreement with groupwinlotto.com? This is the second time you have posted the above message. Are you currently running a club yourself with family or friends?Lottery pooling agreements are not rocket science. I created mine with a Lawyer friend in about 30 minutes. The important facts to remember are:1) Members must be of age (18)2) All parties involved (Members and Club Founders) should sign contract or have contract posted in a public avenue, such as a we

Scratch off Odds?
Instant tickets are just that, instant chances at winning some money. That's why they are so popular. A lot of people don't like to wait around a couple hours for a drawing to take place. With these little cards you bought you can see just by scratching them if you won big, won small, or lost. In Michigan they dont post odds of winning but you can still easily obtain them by emailing or writing to them. Lets take for instance this $20 game they had not to long ago.$20 prize - - 1 in 5.71$25

Lottery Pools - Your Thoughts??
Hi Everyone,Thanks for your responses. Here are some answers to your questions.I have decided to start a pool or club and not a business. There will be no fees or charges outside of what we agree upon as a club. I am doing this simply because I want to win a major jackpot and I think the only way to really do this is by purchasing more tickets with others. I don't mind sharing the jackpot with others. As a matter of fact, I think it would be more fun that way. As I have mentioned before, I

Judge Refuses To Dismiss Lawsuit Over $25M Lottery Ticket
A judge Wednesday refused to dismiss a lawsuit by a group of Englewood hospital workers who claim they were cheated out of a $25 million lottery prize. Superior Court Judge Marguerite Simon said even though the workers have not established any direct proof that they were wronged, there was enough circumstantial evidence to continue the case. The 20 workers claim a colleague, Jamal Townes, bought the ticket with money from an office lottery pool but gave it to Teri and Cornell Davis of Englewood,

Seeing patterns where none exist
Your a lost cause Thomas. You would have said the same thing if I hit today.I would say the same if I were you and did't believe in anything. When I do hit, you will say the same thing and I knew that going in. So this means nothing to someone who does not believe in probabilities. How can I prove I was playing in the right half of the pool and not the intire pool. This wasn't my idea and I know that because it's stupid. If anyone thought they could make their point this way they are going to be

Best way of picking PB numbers
To Cash,If you consider the players that didn't win the MA lotteries lucky then the non-player are more lucky, because they didn't win and it costed them nothing. To Gary,If you are planning to wait until the jackpot size reach a certain amount, you have time to play both methods on paper and evaluate them before you actully play. A few years back, before I retired, some of my co-workers and I did the same thing quitely because some of them didn't want their wives to know how much we were spendi

New Library Definition - Cash Option
Cash OptionAlso, Lump-Sum OptionOne of the two typical ways a lottery prize is paid (the other being Annuity). When a lottery prize is paid with the Cash Option, the winner receives one large payment from the lottery, usually within a few weeks of redeeming the winning ticket. Applicable taxes are normally withheld prior to the payment, although the winner may be responsible for additional taxes after receiving the prize, depending upon their situation.Although most government lotteries allow th
