will you play the new $5 mega millions?
Here is a breakdown of the changes, which may cause some of you to reconsider (especially if you haven't read the Lottery Post article): Mega Ball 24 - 25 will be removed, making either 24 or 23 total. For reference, Powerball odds are currently 1 in 292.201 million. The new Mega Millions will be easier to win th

Powerball drawing produces huge number of big winners, including two who split the jackpot
I wasn't a conspiracy theorist until now....... First, having 2 grand prize winners for a non-billion dollar jackpot, not surprising. Those grand prizes not being in at least one of these states (CA, TX, FL or NY) is odd. The real eyebrow raiser was out of 89 second prize winners, there was no representation from TX, FL or NY. Second, in the following drawing on 5/2, miraculously FL and TX have grand prize winners. What really raises suspicion is that 4 out of 5 numbers were outside of w

Powerball drawing produces huge number of big winners, including two who split the jackpot
Mentioning a conspiracy while claiming no conspiracy is just pure irony. If you'd spent enough time on the website you'd have seen dozens of them every time jackpot gets big. Just recently with someone claiming all the jackpots coming from one county in Michigan. I agree with you on one thing. There has never been so many second tier winners on a small jackpot. And if you'd read the article you'd understand the reason behind it. It's the way the playslips are for a lot of the states.

Balancing Odds and Cost 😁
If I ever win something that big, most of it would be used for or left to grassroots causes. Spread out over things like a food pantry, a cat rescue, after school activities for underprivileged kids, senior care, dog shelter, and so on. All of those community needs that don't get funding because it doesn't make money for the already wealthy. Friends or family would get something, just not like 100 mil. No one needs that kind of money, including myself. What I see in big jackpots isn't a big

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
We can safely conclude Powerball is going to win the overall race even though it may lose the occasional battle. With the game expanding to United Kingdom, the jackpots will grow much faster and most likely break new records. This is a significant change to the game.

US Powerball multi-state lottery game expanding to the UK
My assumption.. Likely operate similarly to California .. Prizes less than the jackpot. Because they are UK, won't be taxed at payout (tax collected at point of sale). No federal tax because effectively UK lottery . Jackpots.. Because they are pooled... and payed out only as an annuity.... not sure...
