Did you win RJOH?
I'm retired so my working days are over. Ohio Rolling Cash5 has had jackpots of $400K+ and the odds of winning it are 1:575,757 so it doesn't make sense to chase a $500K prize with odds of 1:13,983,818 when I can wait for RC5 to roll a few times and get better odds on the same size prize. Besides the odds of winning my dollar back with OCL are worst than those of MM.

Quick decision: New Ark. Lottery chief recommends Powerball
Great for Arkansas, but I bet the greedy PB association will raise the odds EVEN more as soon as Arkansas becomes a member. I foresee 5/62 + 1/47. Hey, why not round it up to a 1 in 250 million odds, PB association??!! I used to play PB every week but not anymore since they did yet ANOTHER change in odds in January from 1/146 million to 1/195 million. IF anything they should LOWER the odds.

GIGABALL, with average jackpots of over a BILLION dollars, but the odds to match?
Those odds are just way too high, as it stands now with odds similar to the current rounded down Powerball (1 in 195M) or MM (1 in 175M) odds there's a chance to make it to 400M so there's no real reason to increase the odds that much just for a potential tripling of the jackpot.

Same Mega Ball three drawings in a row...
Remember that the odds are 1 in 2116 starting at any certain drawing that the two after will be the same BB. Divide the odds by the number of total drawings, is the odds that it would happen sometime in that period. Once the first two have already occurred, the odds on the third one are (ideally) 1 in 46 as usual. I thought I heard the Mega Millions Company is deciding now to remove the lead core from the #26 ball and put it into the #.. opps, gotta go!

Better odds??
I know the odds of winning any lottery game is like a 1,000,000,000 to 1, but i was wondering, do you think your odds go up or down or stay the same when there are alot more people playing? take the MM jackpot for example.

Cheating scratch-offs
The odds of winning anything on a single ticket are decreased if you buy 5 tickets from different games, but you increase your odds of getting two higher tier prizes if you go with different games. For example, if you buy 5 tickets from a single game, your odds of getting TWO or more $25 or greater winners is virtually zero. If you buy 5 tickets from 5 different games, your odds of getting TWO or more $25 or greater tickets are better (although still very poor odds, but better than zero).

Stupid Question-Quick picks VS Your Own #'s
Because those odds are imaginary odds based on a big if. You can have 1 in 1 odds of geting a 5+0 or even 5+1 in MM by wheeling only 5 numbers, if all of the winning numbers happened to be in your 5 number wheel. In reality there's only a 1 in 3.9 million chance that your wheel will actually include the 5 numbers that are drawn. Simply multiply that chance with your imaginary 1:1 chance and you'll find the real odds.

Someone explain...
I don't do scratch off, but maybe people play them for excersize. I don't play them because the odds of winning to me is too high for the money they pay out. If I play a pick 3 6 way box which pays 100. my odds are 1:166, a 3 way box which pays 200. is 1:333, and a straight odds are 1:1000 why waste money on a scratch off which has odds of 1:48000??

New Florida Raffle
ODDS OF WINNING. Which is better? Last time I didn't buy a Raffle ticket and I have even less money now to gamble! But maybe the odds are much better than the Lotto. I play 4 combinations twice a week. $40 would be 10 drawings. Two Raffle tickets = $40. Lotto has 1 in 23 million odds. (starts at $3M and is now $10M) The Raffle is advertising odds of 1 in 125,000 (12 winners guaranteed to win $1M) 25 people will win $100,000 (odds are 1 in 60,000) and 200 people will win $10,000
