Couldn't agree more if I had to. The thing I can't understand is how did The Florida Lottery benefit from adding a midday drawing? They said they were doing it for the players, but that's pure BS. No business does anything without something in it for themselves. I seriously doubt they saw an uptick in the amount of money they were taking in by adding the midday drawing. For the 6 of 50 prize structure, those prizes add up to $1.08, so not possible on a $1 ticket. The way to calculate this is to take the prize amount divided by n (odds being 1 in n ) and add them up.
