$447.8 million winning Powerball lottery ticket sold in California
Thanks for your post. Personally was having a pity party and didn't see the forest for the trees in your analogy. I always said just winning the second tier prize or Kentucky's Cashball 225 is all I need. In any case I'm retiring this December, my third and final career. Retired Army, soon to be retired PICU respiratory therapist, former veterinary technician and have worked since age of 10. I can thank my parents for my strong work ethic. Enough about me and time for a LP member to win

New York Dream Team 05/01/17 - 05/31/17
Rule 1--If your workouts are not clear... if you have fear in your gut, sit on it .... don't play...... This is from a gambling article I read..... So this morning, the numbers didn't look clear to me so I decided to play on paper... didnt feel good about wasting my hard earned money---and giving it to lil Jimmy again and again... so now I am so happy that I saved it instead of wasting it. I liked 107 for p3 and it came out in p4, so again I was way off. Thank you God, Thank you!

State bills to allow anonymous winners
I just read an article dated March 2017 that a bill allowing anonymous winners passed a vote in the house (wv) and was being forwarded to the Senate. Anyone here from wv with more info. I also read Idaho killed such a bill. There should be a vote on a similar bill in Michigan to....they allow anonymity for mi games but not the multistage draw games....boo hoo!

Lottery ticket scam costs victim $19,000
The following thoughts went through my mind when l read this article.. Did these con men show him the ticket or did he simply believe them because they spoke Spanish? If you savvy enough to save $19K why are you then foolish to part with it on the word of total strangers? Does he really think that when if these guys are arrested that they going to find $19K on them?

Interesting mail...
Speaking of scams, do you really believe Richard Lustig is asking $20 for numbers ? Not saying Lustig's methods are better or worse than most, but his lottery winnings come from Fantasy Five and scratch-offs. Just a guess, if it's true someone is really sending emails to gullible seniors asking for $20 for numbers, it's not the real Richard Lustig. Scroll down to the Scam alerts below the Lustig article in the link I gave.

Interesting article. At 5 p.m. a minimum of six people two drawing officials, two certified public accountants and two senior citizen witnesses gather outside the secure room where the lottery keeps its machines and balls: like Nerf balls, but with microchips. They re locked in a cabinet to which only the accou

Duo facing felony charges in lottery theft scheme
. You know, the store clerk should be required to scan the ticket leaving the cash register area, to register it, with lotto. Of course, what I propose is a whole new component to the lotto system, and not only one that I'm sure has been considered but one that will do away with these store thefts. I didn't read the whole article, but I assume a store was ripped off. I mean why do we need to see this every so often? I certainly don't expect thieves to stop thieving.

California Lottery delaying payouts to winners
That's why I said most . Also, in the last paragraph it says they are working on a plan to speed up payouts on claims between $600 and $1000, which represents a large number of the claims. So, the way the article reads is that they were caught by surprise, and they are working to correct it. If, if... they have more winning tix now than in the past, that's a good thing.
