Well I think 2 $300,000,000+ jackpots from a single game each year is certainly more than enough. Hell, I wouldn't mind if we saw each game get a $300,000,000+ jackpot once a year. However, I do think we will see another $300,000,000+ jackpot from PowerBall before the year ends, possibly a record jackpot. In fact, PowerBall is already on a roll. It's up to $29M. We just might see 2 consecutive $300,000,000+ jackpot rolls.

Eh well, better luck for me next time. Four winners and 36 2nd prize winners, is that a record or something? How much do you think they will end up with each? In any case, it was fun while it lasted. Hopefully the jackpots will be bigger more often than they've been in the last two years, it's definately more exciting once it crosses the 200 million dollar mark.

I hope it continues to roll because I'm responsible for setting up the California Super Lotto Plus Challenge. This game is now in ultimate sudden death because it now has 24 straight rolls (new record) without a jackpot winner.

We're now in California Super Lotto Plus Ultimate Sudden Death. It set a new roll record for most number of rolls without a jackpot winner. It's currently at 93 million on roll #24. Roll #21 is 74 million, Roll #22 is 80 million, and Roll #23 is 86 million are where it hit new jackpot lows.

You're confused about how the cap works. As you correctly note, the cap applies when the jackpot meets or exceeds the previous record of 365. If a couple of rolls pushes the advertised jackpot to anything over 300 or so the next jackpot will exceed 365. That means the cap will apply. That means the next jackpot can't be more than 390, though it could be less depending on the previous jackpot and sales.

My vote is for Powerball to set a new United States record. I hope PB and MM continues to roll. However, I hope that PB reaches $415 million on this run, but I also hope that there's a MM jackpot winner before $390 million.
