Lottery veterans question Tennessee family's behavior before claiming Powerball winnings
After the bad move they made, I doubt they will fade anytime soon as potential 'targets' to everyone with an outstretched hand. No, I think they will be hounded for a very long time. The other two winners will probably make their claims through layers of trusts and/or LLCs. It has only been 3 days, but I hope they are getting their ducks in a row before making their claims. I read somewhere that if your State requires that your name be published, you can go to court and ask a judge to gran

Record $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot won by 3 tickets
A spokesman for Brius Healthcare called news media Thursday to relay the story of a nurse winning a share of the jackpot after owner Shlomo Rechnitz bought tickets for his employees. Spokesman Josh Nass says he was told the nurse's son sent her a cellphone picture of a ticket. But the New York Daily News reports the nurse's daughter says it was an embarrassing prank. The Los Angeles Times reports the daughter asked to remain anonymous to avoid drawing more attention to her family.

So I finally found out who CA lottery winner was and I will be honest. What a jackass and so much history about Dan. He lives lavish lifestyle, arrested for something alleging a porn star, his dad was a wall st tycoon, etc. He was a poker professional player and can do what he pleases. This guy basically told everyone to go shove it. Now he is more richer. So basically he is the younger version of hugh hefner. Instagram acct has been something else. The tennessee couple this family s

Record $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot won by 3 tickets
I was not opposed to 1 single winner, but with this massive amount had I won I would be relieved to share at least the attention. Unless I had won in an 100% anonymous state. I'm glad its ovah! Congratulations to the jackpot winners and the 81 million dollar winners.

Record $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot won by 3 tickets
Can the winner of a large Lottery prize remain anonymous? It is the policy of the Tennessee Lottery to treat such information as a public record. The Lottery will therefore disclose the name, home state and home town of winners if a request is received for such information. source: https://www.tnlottery.com/faq/faq.aspx

Record $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot won by 3 tickets
OK that is not such a big deal now. I said in a post that I doubt there would be more than 3 winners so at least I got that prediction right. How would I react? I would just be like cool and go back to doing what I was doing Lol! I would be kinda glad the attention would be split 3 ways and not just be on me. I am just glad I did not spend much on this and no longer have to keep spending $2.00. I plan on winning cash for life anyway soon and almost did now twice. ($1,000 a DAY for LIFE $365,000

Anonymity for this huge jackpot. Let's settle this right here and now.
Well the obvious claiming it via a Trust is something that has proven effective and in one particular case seemed to have worked. When Louise White claimed her jackpot she used the The Rainbow Sherbert Trust (note the misspelling was on purpose) and she did her press conference and barely uttered much with her attorneys doing most of the talking. Now nobody talks about her so I'm assuming she is fine now. Another one that supposedly they got away with not having to reveal the actual winner w

Anonymity for this huge jackpot. Let's settle this right here and now.
Iowa law requires the name of the person redeeming the ticket not who purchased it If that were true, Johnson or Shaw could have successfully claimed the winnings. According to this news article the Iowa Lottery wanted to talk to the man wearing the hoody that bought the ticket. Somehow, Johnston and company erroneously assumed they could cash in the ticket through a trust to keep the buyer anonymous. But this was another oversight: Iowa is one of several states that mandates winners be

$1.5 BILLION: Wednesday Powerball record jackpot still rising
If you are the sole winner I guarantee that 15min will not be the end. There will be tons of news/reporters trying to get to talk to you for longer interviews, documentary makers, conspiracy cooks, crazies, inventors, scammers, investment salesment, etc. etc. There are stories of lotto winners getting pounded every day with phone calls, letters, and even harassed on streets. So yes you need to stay very very anonymous...likely need to change name, appearance, change phone/mailb

Are you ready for the attention?
Oh yeah, I'm ready. Gonna split the annuity with one other person and then immediately invest 4-5mil in CD's to earn a decent return my first year. After that I'll probably invest more aggressively with the future payments, while living off the interest from the first year's. So sorry to all the beggars, but its all tied up right now. I would also quickly invest in some acreage and surround a medium sized home (top of the line security system, of course) with an electric razorwire fence
