Calif. lottery winners try to remain as anonymous as possible
To my understanding, if you win the multi-state lotto in California, the Mega Millions, thelotto officials are required by law to give out your full name and thecity where you purchased the ticket. You can refuse to have your picture taken if you wish. You can not collect through a trust in California, that is for other states like Ohio or Maryland but not California. Look at the winners history for Mega Millions. Every person who collected annymously or who used a trust to collect their money i

Praying?
so joker, your not going to apologize for purposefully twisting what i said either, eh? you cannot imagine my surprise, and my ensuing disappointment . poking your head back out, after you willingly crawled in your self dug hole, does not constitute you being in the game, joker. in here, just as in life, you are either in it, or your not. so make up your mind, or atleast attempt a formidable stand. you should quit your childish postulating, and make choices that lead to something that r

Ever get lottery overload
edge Thank you. I feel the same about you. Most of my ideas come from asking what would I do if I was running the lottery as with the casinos they must always be on the lookout. I wish I had their data and knew what they know. Few people I think ever consider this. For every set they release they get millions back. Think about it. RL

N.J. school board member claims $211.7M Powerball jackpot
The idea of creating an alterate address might work, but there are some serious limitations. 1. The lottery will anounce where the ticket was sold, so using an address that's far away probably won't throw anyone off the tracl if htey really want to figure out who you are. 2. What's your name? If your name is John Smith and the ticket was bought near a large town, you've probaly go tnothing to worry about, as liong as you don't do a press conference and let them get a picture. The problem i

New To Forum - Anonymous question - regarding your place of residence
I'm reasonably certain that the USPO won't let you live in a post office box, and the NY DMV knows what your friend's real address is. You can use one as your legal mailing address, but it's definitely not the address the lottery will use in releasing information about what town you live in. If you live in West Podunk and don't want the lottery to tell people that's where you live you'll have to actually move somewhere else. So far I haven't needed to find out, but I'm guessing that if you live

Anonymity
I was thinking the same thing. Even California said they have to release your name. But I called them DIRECTLY and was told that NO its advertised but you can indeed remain anonymous. My concern is the advice to get a Financial Planner or Advisor. With all the Bernie Madoffs out there, who is to say they won't try to steal the money under the umbrella of protection and safe investments? When I win the SLP I will simply put it in a CDARS account. ( providing banks dont go bankrupt) I

Things that make you go HMMMMM
lottocalgal, YUP! I don't know what the exact numbers are or if the lotteries even release them to the public, but on most nights the Pick 5s probably get a lot less play. Most lottery players start salivating like a dog when the jackpot hits $100 million. Ever notice once it does you see a lot more MM and PB commercials on TV? I'd venture to say the average jackpot chaser doesn't even know their state has a Pick 5, has never played it, or just ignores it. Just look at the Forums right

Fla. woman faces eviction after lottery-winning husband disappears
My heart goes out to the wife. I really-really hope everything works out for her. I doubt she will get anything from the husband. I would not be surprised if he's already lost all of the money. Knowing Ramdass liked to gamble, Campbell searched his name on Google. She discovered a press release announcing that he and his friends had won the Lotto jackpot ``This one, we took at the Hard Rock,'' she said, pointing to a picture of her and her husband in their wedding attire. ``We went gamblin

Fla Fantasy 5 hottest number combinations to use and other tipZ
Thanks guys, but first tonights number was (3-4-6-15-30) As you may see from the bottom of my first post I used an example of a bad number combo that has hit only 7 times in 1 and a half years (3-4-9-10-32) just 3 days ago .. Well holy moly.. that same combo hit again tonight for the incredible 8th time in 1.5 years...so that means you can never know what might happen..but the above stands true.. my number type combinations above are from just a fact analysis.
