looking for advice on this ticket and its odds- strategy??
If that were true, you would be dealing with a rigged lottery game, which would be highly unlikely.
You probably don't have a large enough sampling to draw any real conclusions.
As I noted previously, yes, it is more likely that there will be 8 or more winning tickets in any group of 30 tickets, namely about 52%. But that is close enough to 50-50 that over the long run, you should also find groups of 30 tickets with 7 or fewer winning tickets.
As for the distribution of prizes, that sho

How can I be such a loser!!
My opinion: Stop playing Keno.
While I was doing a little lottery research a few months back, I decided to analyze previously drawn Keno numbers and then put some money towards the game. The way I had the numbers picked, I should have at least gotten a $25 hit from it, if not a $250. The numbers drawn were in such an odd pattern (by odd, I mean a there were a large cluster of numbers back-to-back, like 25-26-27-28-29-30, can't remember the exact pick.) That told me that there was definitel

what is your thoughts on randomness is there structure even in chaos?
A legal way for them to cheat. Its true. State lotteries are not honest. If they were they would run them as I explained above. I had a friend who worked at the lottery and said saw them run the machine 20 times till they got the number they wanted. Then would post those numbers as the winning numbers. You can not trust any business who does not want you to see what their doing and just wants you to openly trust them. The governor is the one who puts the 5 commisioners in place in each state lot

Which odds are better?
FWIW, when I post a bit of advice, it's derived from absolute real life experiences along with personal observations of others around me in these games. I'm very well acquainted with several people that unloaded $200-300 on the last PB deal...and only got a few bucks to show for it. Some numbers were self picked while others were QP's and it all cam out the same. They haven't played any games since then because they're upset that they didn't win more...and figure it's all rigged. Well, I had to

Quick picks can't be rigged
Anything can easily be rigged if it comes from a computer.
Tennessee has been caught at it.
Anyone playing doubles on Pick3 had no chance of winning for weeks.
The computer that gave the winning numbers was programmed not to let doubles win.
They assured us that it was a mistake though (after they were caught) and it will never happen again.
So we all have total confidence in the computers now!

To Coin Toss
75% times head isn't wrong for 1000 coin flips!
We consider around 50% for likely because p(coin_side)=0.5 !
This way it could be that all winners come from just one state of the USA!
Unlikely doesn't mean rigged!

SergeM,
Playing the game isn't the hard part, Money certainly isn't thee issue... but what concerns me, is that the rarity of OTHER
STATES and PLAYERS to WIN the JACK POTS Unless you actually live in NEW YORK, Rhode Island or Connecticut. as a fact
checker will show that those areas have an overwhelming number of Recent Jack POT WINNERS, which makes me believe
that therse LOTTERIES are RIGGED.

Lottery jackpots may get bigger
Yep, I'm usually the whippin' boy, dallas, LOL.
Some of these guys though, whoa, I just gotta scratch my head and wonder if they're really serious about what they're saying or joking.
And the best part?
Even though he knows it's rigged , he'll go play it again.
And then come back here again and complain about it.
