NEW VIDEO: The largest lottery jackpots in history
It was a good refresher of jackpots that I had forgotten about over the last ten years. I liked the stories in the video too.-weshar75

Mega Millions and Powerball offer nearly $1 billion in combined lottery jackpots
Wow! .....These are the types of jackpots that bring out what I call the It's not big enough players . These are the players who refuse to play when the jackpot is 50 million because it's not big enough . When a jackpot grows to this size they come out of the woodwork. I use to work customer service at a lottery retailer and I actually caught myself one day telling a woman it was only 64million. I had become one of them.

Mega Millions and Powerball offer nearly $1 billion in combined lottery jackpots
After reading feel good stories about folks winning big and how it has affected them, Kate this is my second favorite reading...the Hall of Fame as I call it where the lotteries stand against past big jackpots!

It won't be long before Powerball is $5! :/
From the moment they change the powerball from a dollar I stopped playing, I felt it was better to stick with $1 ticket games as the odds were a bit more in your favor and easier to win. Giving up a dollar for bigger odds of winning didn't make sense to me, even when they paid higher jackpots.

Lets talk about Quick Picks
Well I wouldn't say it's less likely to happen. I've never counted quick pick wins vs picked numbers in any given year. But this information is right there on the Florida Lottery page. Go to the Fantasy Five page and look to the right. You will see top prize winners and retailer information. It tells you if the jackpots were QP's or not.

Virginia: 9/1 - 9/30/2021
Almost all of my numbers come from old Powerball jackpots ... the latest being 6-5-21. I count back the numbers since last draw and then start adding together.

That's because LfL is the only game to play while waiting for the other Jackpots to build. Michigan needs a better mix of games but until then there is LfL.

New Powerball feature coming to some states
By Kate Northrop
The Powerball Product Group announced Monday that a new add-on feature will accompany the game in some states when it launches its third weekly drawing, starting Mon., Aug. 23.
The feature is called Double Play, and it gives players in certain jurisdictions another chance to match their Powerball numbers in a second drawing with a top cash prize of $10 million, a press release says.
America's jackpot game is picking up the pace to keep up with player demand going fr

Powerball ticket price to increase to $3 in Idaho
Good luck Idaho residents. Should that mentality trickle east to TN, it will be time to stop all PB participation until jackpots start hitting the $400-500M mark.

getting back to an old topic RNG controlled
About your statement, They would need to use a device based on atomic decay or some other random physical process before I would accept that they are random. , don't fall into that trap!
The lotteries generally use very good random number generators these days, many of which use the atomic decay thing. But that's not the point. It's the lotteries' trap to get you arguing about how good the RNG is.
The problem is that it is a computer program, and as we've all witnessed with the biggest lot
