Can a NYC resident remain anonymous from the public??
Hey everyone! I'm a newbie here but a long time lurker. I've a few questions to ask about public anonymity. As a NYC resident, I have yet to hear of an anonymous NY winner. Every winner's revealed to the public. No matter how much they've won. So I've decided to finally read the rules and regulations on the NY lottery website. I've come across these two factors: -(a) A winning Mega Millions Ticket is deemed to be owned by the person or entity named on the ticket or, in the case of a ticket no

Looking the mathematic formula or a good program summing
Thank you Johnph77 Very interesting chart. But the main thing for an advertised player is to do not become confused with all statistics, patterns etc for all the yield of a particular lottery. To avoid to become too lost, so why must be make a choice and be concentrated on it. For the banco with is 70 field numbers, and particularly because i play most oftently a 6 spot numbers, i reduce my field to a maximum of 20 numbers when i target the number 1, a maximum of 24 numbers when i target t

Sex offender wins Alaska lottery that aids sex abuse victims
Facts don't seem to agree with your statement. Recidivism Of the 272,111 persons released from prisons in 15 States in 1994, an estimated 67.5% were rearrested for a felony or serious misdemeanor within 3 years, 46.9% were reconvicted, and 25.4% resentenced to prison for a new crime. The 272,111 offenders discharged in 1994 accounted for nearly 4,877,000 arrest charges over their recorded careers. Within 3 years of release, 2.5% of released rapists were rearrested for another rape, and 1.

Fixed issue with lottery results and search pages
There was a strange bug happening for the past several days, and I know several of you have expeirenced it, but only those who were using certain features in the pages. Basically what would happen is that when you go to a page, for example the Lottery Results Search page, you would see the results of the last search you ran, rather than the starting page for the results search engine. I knew basically where the problem lay, but was unable to determine ewactly what was causing it. This e

Why you should try to remain anonymous if you ever win a jackpot!
What the lottery wants to do and what they can do are often times at odds. Only a handful of states require photo shoots or press conferences. Most states require the release of a name ... but will also allow winners to redeem tickets by Registered Mail. If a person wins a large jackpot in such a state, it might require the assistance of an attorney to remind lottery agencies of their legal limitations. I think, in the vast majority of cases, that lottery commissions rely on winner euphori

Nice Gift!
In Florida a woman won $1 million on an instant ticket game called Maximum Millions and the news reports... Gerbetz is the first winner to receive one of the game's seven $1 million top prizes. After claiming the prize at Lottery headquarters, Cheryl Gerbetz immediately turned the check over to her son Frank. This is the first time I've seen a press release in Florida where the winner's age isn't mentioned. It was probably a smart move if she's in a lower tax bracket and was going to lea

thank you all in lp
I'm glad to hear you decided not to do anything crazy . I do understand how your feeling. I've felt the same way for years. Truth is..I suffer from depression. It kinda spreads like wild fire on my moms side of the family. What seems like just a simple setback to one, seems like the end of the world for me. Unfortunately, I don't have anyone to talk to. My husband knows I have some down time but I don't think he realizes how bad it can get. I'm not sure what is making you feel so bad, but I can

Is there a "Lottery Ego?"
A friend recently said that to me ( trend is your friend ) but I'd still have to play a lot of numbers that follow it. One week just about every draw in FL had 3 consecutive numbers. Coincidence or trend? I also see 21 and 31 in the same combination quite a bit. That said, I wonder if it's because I notice certain numbers or combinations more (like 9-11 for example) because of their meaning. BTW (this is for Coin Toss) not to go too far off-topic, but the winner of the $12M Florida Lotto did

$196M Ohio lottery winner trying to claim anonymously?
The winner of the $196 million Mega Millions winning ticket sold in Ohio last week hasn't stepped forward yet, but there are indications that he or she might want to remain anonymous. Ohio Lottery spokeswoman Jeannie Roberts said Thursday that the lottery has received inquiries about how to claim the prize through a blind trust. Having a lawyer set up such a trust would shield the winner's name from public release. But Roberts cautioned that the winning ticket has not yet been produced, an
