Hot Lotto higher than Powerball
Thanks to a ticket from North Carolina, PB was won last night. PB is now lower than HL, which continues on its record run, and is now the 2d highest US jackpot (after Mega Millions).

Any VA scratch off is better than the numbers game LOSE for Life, which is played exactly the same in VA as in GA. Too bad you won't be in the DC area or near West Virginia, as Hot Lotto now has a record jackpot.

It's now too late in the year for either MM or PB to reach $300 million by New Year's Eve. Right now Hot Lotto is getting a lotto attention with its record jackpot.

New Mexico joins Hot Lotto 11/12Reply
New Mexico could not have joined HL at a better time. The jackpot is now $13.5 million; needless to say another record high. Are other states looking to join, and, probably more importantly, is there a matrix change on the horizon to make even bigger HL jackpots possible?

Just a little research info, those combos have a record of hitting 20 times a month. So far, they've hit exactly 20 times this month, including today's midday draws. I think we can get at least 1 or 2 more tonight.

nah i dont think we will see a record for the rest of this year. I don't even think powerball will break 200 I def believe MM will get hit in november

Leaving for Florida tomorrow AM
You won't be hearing much from me the next two weeks. Tomorrow I will play $3 of Hot Lotto in DC for its record $11 million jackpot. I will play Florida Lotto both drawings this week, with Mega Money in between. Next week I will play Mega Millions with Megaplier, and Lotto Texas. On the way home I will play video lottery in Monticello, NY.

Powerball rolls to $27 millionReply
With interest rates stabilizing it may take Powerball a bit longer to hit an annuity record, since they won't be expecting as much from the annuity. Also, for the same reason, I think Powerball's annuity jackpots will not catch up to Mega's this run, like it did last month. Powerball's annuity jackpots are more sensitive to interest rate changes than Mega's because of the differences in the way the games structure them.

I'd say that Powerball could easily hit 260M by Christmas. I have just given up on expecting anything from Mega. Eurmillions is only five drawings away from it's record but is unlikely to roll that high.
