I'm no skeptic, I'm a realist. Do I play the lottery? Yes. But not every day or every week. But I don't waste my time thinking I'm going to retire playing the lottery.
Anybody who does, like you has got more air between the ears than the lottery machines. Yes and everyone has a system and they're that close to hitting the jackpot. I'm not going to convince you or try to convince you otherwise, because you will keep hitting your head against a brick wall hoping it will fall down. You'll retire

Why I want my pool to win more than ever right now
As I've said before here, I run a lottery pool at work with 10 coworkers for a total of 11 people in it. We always want to win but right now, I want us to win more than ever. I want this to happen right now because one of our members has been battling lung cancer for the last few months. She's had to do chemotherapy and they aren't sure if it's working. She can retire now, but hasn't done so yet. I'd like to win so she can retire and live out whatever time she has with no worries. She loves sail

Will You QUIT Your Current Job
Even if I were to win the jackpot of Mega Millions or Powerball or Ohio Classic Lottery, I would not retire. I have a job that helps people and is not dangerous. So why would I quit helping people (help themselves...I say that since I would in no way extend anyone any of my winnings)? So I definitely would not stop working if I only won $1 million, which would be closer to $600k after federal and state taxes.
But I also would not be a workaholic in either case. I would adopt the European vaca

Would you prefer the PB jackpot be won this Saturday or roll toward half a Billion and beyond?
I love liberalism! I am not a fan of El Gordo, the mondo Spanish lottery that tops billion dollars but in which most people only win a few hundred thousand. Although I would prefer to be the sole winning ticket of half a billion (before taxes), I do get a strange sense of satisfaction when lottery pools of 100 or more come forward to claim a large jackpot amount (the satisfaction is my solace in not having the winning ticket). In my opinion, half a billion or a quarter of a billion to a single p

What city will you retire in?
Lake Tahoe, it has everything I like, altitude for cooler tempatures, lake for water sports, mountains and snow for cross-country skiing, snowboarding and mountain biking, hiking trails, camping, fishing, and forest.
I previously lived in Vail Colorado so Vail, Breckenridge, or Aspen would be my next choices.
I'm all set to retire to Tahoe without winning lottery but I would require some serious lottery winnings to retire in Aspen.
