Pick-Quickpick Question
No, because that doesn't change the fact that the only way to manipulate the outcome would be to rig the drawing. Texas conducts real drawings with mechanical ball machines, meaning that the chances of the drawings being rigged are practically nil. Knowing the distribution of numbers is a good thing. Would you really want the lottery to NOT see if their machines are operating properly? They get the reports from the ticket data -- AFTER the numbers have been selected at the lottery terminal

How to Prove Your Lottery IS Fixed?
You could be right about that: but for, my neighbor s son Sean who works in LV as a Slot maintenance tech: installs new machines, repairs, fixes, tests settings and calibrates software, all that. The way I understand it just got off the phone with Sean s dad applicable States have gaming laws that require Slot payouts not fall below a regulated threshold percentage in Nevada it s 75% see Minimum Standards for Gaming Devices - Code 14.040 - gamingNV.gov. Yes, machines can be rigged by the

Many people in Michigan think dailys are rigged
Thanks for your thoughts......I can tell you from talking to 100's of retailers here in Michigan that just about no one trusts the dailys. Many act like it's an automatic conclusion that the daily 3 daily 4 games are rigged. Just the way the games are run in secret with zero oversight from either the legislative body or the govenors office is alarming Some very suspicous stories have been told. The process of having 10 sets of balls that come from a company in New Jersey and these ball are put i

wrong number posted!!
Where did this woman see a 6 is my question, was this rigged and suppose to be a 6 Unless it was an innocent mistake. Then I say to myself why did they put 612 up when the machine popped out 812, kind of makes you think because it seems as if the number pre-arranged was 612 I now think (until corrected) that IL numbers are PRE_RECORDED as if they already know what is suppose to come.

'Infrequent buyer' claims $34M Powerball lottery jackpot
There wasn't as much potential harm in giving out the winner's information and taking their picture holding a huge check when lotto jackpots were $1 million. Most payouts were $50,000 before taxes for the next 20 years so how much a person could give away was limited. With jackpots of $50 to $100 million, winners should get the right to be anonymous up to a point. If a lottery wants to get a group of players complaining and saying the lottery is rigged, all they have to do is say the winni

POLL 2 of 3: Switching to computerized drawings
As we saw in Pennsylvania a few years ago, ball drawings can be rigged and getting caught was probably the only thing preventing them from trying it again. But this was done to benefit individuals and not the PA lottery. Getting caught was the best the best thing to happened for ball drawings because it set up additional security procedures and protocols where by the lottery's conducts live mechanical drawings. Those procedures cant be checked as easily with RNG drawings as i don't know

Indiana Lottery finds $13,000 mistake
In response to the 2 previous posters: Yep we have just entered our 11th month without a winner. (That's more than 90 consecutive draws.) And despite a lottery that has been riddled with scandal and corruption since it's inception...and a history of rigged games (albeit scratch off's) and the use of an RNG...and yet another mistake by an outside vendor... It could happen! Yeah! And monkey's might fly out my b*tt too! Jim
