Loon I am all for a change in the Take 5 game as I would like to see it rollover way back when it started there were some jackpots over 100K they advertised it but that is a rare occurrence they also should add a bonus ball similar to Power Ball and Mega just keep it the same price and it would draw more players.

I noticed the Publix across the street from where I lived replaced the yellow LFL from the machine for the new 200X. I think that many open books of the LFL game were removed from vending machines from Publixes, and those tickets were returned to FL Lottery to be discarded. This could affect the remaining jackpots on that game.

We're not getting much for our money when just two tickets in each weekly drawing costs over $800 a year. Especially considering the probable payoff is about $10. Some say the large jackpots justify the playing, which is true but jackpot winning drawings are few and far between.

Starting jackpots yield about 9.5 million after taxes in my state. So it depends on the market. Have rates gone down since COVID? if I got 8 million invested, what would the return be on that each year if half was in safer investments and half in moderately safe investments?

Me too. I have zero interest in the annuity for this game as it closely matches the cash option. After taxes the winner should take home approximately $800K at this point. That's how I always look at jackpots; what I will realistically take home, not the advertised pre tax amount.
