One NJ lottery ticket wins $124 million Mega Millions jackpot
How is it possible that New Jersey has won a LOT of high profile Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots in just the past few years??? I don't get it. It seems to be massively out of balance with the rest of the States.

Illinois Lottery reopens 4 of 5 claim centers by appointment only
l can see the method to their madness. You should see the folks waiting to get into Bank of America Trader Joe's. No kidding: the lines are going round the block * 6ft apart, reminiscient of PB MM jackpots that would be sitting at $1.75 Billion. Crazy, but logical.

Lottery winner Timothy Schultz on You Tube.
I dreamt I won Wisconsin supercash. The jackpots only 350K but I ran my ticket 10 times for 3.5 million. I don't remember a press event or the numbers I played. However, I do remember lots of friends and relatives I haven't seen in years calling me and lots of hot looking chicks I never saw before asking me out. Then I woke up. Bummer.

Kentucky Lottery sales rebound
Agreed, there is a lot of genuine anger about the jackpots being lowered without an adjustment in ticket price. Many people contact us every day about it. The longer the reduced jackpot rules are in effect, the more I personally agree with that anger.

One Arizona lottery ticket wins $410 million Mega Millions jackpot
I'll say it again, combine both games somehow and maybe have two drawings a week. Keep the current price and maybe improve the odds. Pipe dream I know, just like it the way it used to be...$40 million starting jackpots and guaranteed jackpot increase if not won. Those days are long gone. We wont' have Todd running the top 25 in a long time--if ever again with snail pace increases.

Mega Millions lottery jackpot rolls to $410 million
One winner....Arizona. Jackpot reset to $20 million. Powerball increases by $2 million now so MegaMillions will now follow suit. It's going to take awhile to reach the tripple digit jackpots. It will be sometime before I buy at $2 a ticket. I'll take a look at the scratcher tickets instead....

Mega Millions lottery jackpot rolls to $410 million
Think about it, lower starting jackpots and very slow incremental increases. I'll wait and see if my prediction comes to fruition, which I believe it will be. If they were betting on another record breaker, they would have left well enough alone.

My prediction for 2020 and this decade was right
My point is , the government uses misleading accounting practices, which is why it's no surprise we're seeing what you're showing up there. And yeah, it's a problem. But who the heck can think about 18 trillion dollars? The number's too big. The mind can not grasp that. Psychologically speaking. It's true. Which is why sometimes I laugh at these multi million dollar jackpots.

Louisiana Lottery making changes to Lotto game in August
MUSL does as it pleases. Gone are the days where we'd see bump ups of jackpots. For example tonight's mm is $298 million and there it will stay. Oh well is correct as you say noise-gate.

Hoosier Lottery operator facing $3.6M fine for not meeting sales goal
By Kate Northrop
IGT Indiana, the private operator of the Hoosier Lottery, may be required to pay a $3.6 million fine to the state should it not meet its $300 million sales goal a number that seems unobtainable at this point.
The lottery is projected to generate about $295 million to be sent to state coffers, which would include the $3.6 million penalty should they not meet the threshold.
Last year, the lottery sent a record $312 million to the state in surplus revenue, 6% higher than w
