Skyrocketing scratch-off sales indicate lotto players are resilient
Not sure if sales are rising because lottery players are resilient or because they got stimulus checks. My bet is on the latter. MM and PB were due for a sales drop regardless of why they changed how they estimate jackpots. Be interesting when annual reports come out to see which games players are buying with money they were spending on MM and PB.

UK National Lottery website down before drawing
Seeing how spoilt American lottery players are with our jackpots being downsized, l would go out on a limb and say If the Powerball drawing on Saturday night did not occur due to a power outage- you would probably get a little over half a dozen players nationwide that would be outraged. Probably hear That's great, at least l managed to save my $2.00 this time, no biggie.

Louisiana public education takes a toll from decreased lottery proceeds
I believe the fourth paragraph about sums it all up with PB and MM changing the rules for minimum jackpots and snail pace increments if not won. Many states will feel the crunch. Just wait until I win MM tonight and watch the state coffers really take a hit.

Idaho lottery still a popular bet during pandemic worries
Good question Music. That is where I would like to see The Lottery Changed my Life do some filming, where are they now and how have they done with their jackpots.

Wisconsin % All or Nothing %
If they made B5 x2 a day that would be very likely - but I do not foresee that happening. Jackpots would be popping off all the time! Since B5 jackpots can take a week or so to build up I just wait until they get sizable before playing/picking numbers. I still have my SuperCash and AoN for every day at least. Now that the Badger 5 madness has stopped for now (who knows where we will be next week) I can go back to my 2 regular games

Wisconsin % All or Nothing %
I wonder if B5 will continue to hit higher jackpots (thereby making it more fun to play on the reg) or if it would be better to just concentrate on AorN at this point?

Coronavirus severely hurting Massachusetts Lottery sales
Your last sentence sums it all up. What is the old saying 'cut off your nose to spite your face'? To me the lottery can't see the forest for the trees. Give it time, once MM is won and both have crappy top jackpots I think sales will tank even more.

Coronavirus severely hurting Massachusetts Lottery sales
Same here and a crappy $5 million increase since no jackpot winner from last night. It'll never happen in a million years, but wouldn't it be nice if MM PB were more transparent? I mean CEO salaries, expenses, the whole gambit. Who here thinks like me that with the lower starting jackpots and lower rollover increases it will hurt the bottom line? I think and hope it does!

Wisconsin 2 draws a day
I mean even if Badger 5 was 2 times a day, and a decent jackpot was won 2/3 times a week - I would think the state wouldn't be losing out on it - it only grows in relation to ticket sales. You would think if there are more bigger jackpots that mean lots of tickets sold = profit. But what do I know - I am just a boy from Wisconsin. I like the Badger 5 but have not had the best luck with it - I have found I am very likely to win my $1 back, but that is about it. If it was a x2 a
