CA SLP Question
Everyone, CA SLP has tied a new roll 8 record low. The current CA SLP Jackpot has rolled to 28 million. I was this close to ending the question when WB 6 came out, but Mega was 15.

Wake County leading N.C. lottery sales
I wonder what would happen if NC or any other PB jurisdiction had higher or lower prizes than the other states. For the record, California has pari-mutuel prizes for all nine levels in Mega Millions, but the overall payout percentage is still 50%.

Rising Gas Prices Not Helping Lottery Ticket Sales
For the record, I live 65 miles from the SC border and it's ALL I-95. My highway car is a 1988 Honda CRX HF with 250,000+ miles on it. It AVERAGES 45 MPG. It takes 11 gallons to fill the tank to the neck when it's bone dry . So gas prices don't bother me too much to get a better chance at a win.

Powerball lottery jackpot growing quickly: $73 million
Wow. 44.6% on the cash prize according to www.usamega.com . I think the only record is how little you will win if you win. At this rate if it hits the cap at 395M it will only be 115M after federal tax.

Probability of a MegaMillions rollover.
Prob988, I like it when it keeps rolling. However, the current jackpot of 54 million isn't a new roll 4 record. The current roll 4 and 5 records are 56 and 68 respectively.

Ohio LOP-Wed 4/26 payout: 106k
ANOTHER record low payback during the Saturdays-only April promotion. This game clearly has no future.

Mega Draw
Hard to say. I'm sure it depends on sales. The record pot for Super 7 is 37 million. I would guess this was listed as 35 million. When 6/49 was listed as having a $40 million pot the actual pot ended up being over 50 million. Super 7 might not have the sales that 6/49 does. I don't think sales will really take off unless it can break 40 million.

Mega Millions & Tuesday the 18th
I wanted MM to roll over at least one more time, and set a MM record for largest jackpot. But you can't always have it your way, even at Burger King.

Current Jackpot Runs #2
My vote is for Mega Millions. With the odds at 176 million, it's very hard to win the jackpot. In fact, their first rollover set a new roll 1 record. PB won't get new roll records.
