If Texas scraps the state lottery, will you play another state lottery?
You keep saying it needs to be managed better, but other than complaining about the payouts on a few scratch tickets, you haven't given any specifics on administration.
I'll say this one more time: you don't live in Texas so it's none of your business and you really need to quit whining about it. You're coming across as one of those who just want to bash Texas for any reason, even if your facts don't support the reason. (such as saying in the other thread the lottery was being investigated

What do you say to someone who tells you that you wasting your time trying to win?
The Laws of attraction, a.k.a the universe or laws of belief, or 'the secret' can work with anyone! The are an infinity of lottery draws to come, and your laws of attraction must at least get that one big one!
But the laws of attraction shouldn't work itself alone, there SHOULD also be a good winning strategy backing it up. i.e. Your OWN good system that 'wheels a few' good numbers that win there and there, and IT WILL WORK SOME DAY!
B.T.W, I am going to post an article/lp-blog about

Kentucky Lottery finally able to advertise where the money goes
I read last year ( in the Lexington , Kentucky Herald Leader Newspaper ) where the scholarship money
was way down back then from what it used to be
I posted about that in another Ky. article in the New forum back then
But at least they finally are gonna release the info ( that they should have released years ago )

$3 million lottery winnings just chicken feed to farmer
Pretty interesting Mike.
The headline did pique my interest, and as I read the article, I understood exactly what the headline was meant to do; tie in to the fact he's a chicken farmer and he loves it. I thought it was pretty good.
I was in journalism in high school, and the sports editor. My teacher was a older lady who was tough, but probably the best teacher I ever had. I wanted to go to Ohio State and study journalism, but I knew I didn't have the grades or the money, so that never hap

Who's the lottery champ here ?
Do pick3 tickets pay enough that winners need the services of a ten percenter?
Not unless the ticket contained multiple plays of the winning number, which was addressed above.
It doesn't matter. You all seem to have forgotten the recent article referenced here that exposed the troubling fraud and theft by lottery clerks. Based on what I read there, I would suspect this store owner, himself, might have been in need of a ten percenter because the lottery commissions are tracking the winn

Lottery's 'luckiest woman' bet flabbergasting sums on scratch-offs
It's probably more like a copyright issue. I don't know if Todd secures permission to post all of these articles in the News section, but if he doesn't, that might explain it. You can't just publish other people's work without permission and very little attribution. And even if Todd does get the proper clearance, the author (or the newspaper or, most likely, the newspaper's lawyers) still has every right to change their mind and request/demand that the article come down.
It looks like you're

Lottery's 'luckiest woman' bet flabbergasting sums on scratch-offs
Does the author not see what kind of great exposure his article was receiving being read
by the many members here on Lottery Post? I would have never read this story if Todd
had not posted it. oh well... that's too bad.

According to my retailer there is a new national lottery game coming
I saw the same thing...backlash from Northstar's poor performance apparently.....
They won't be publishing a list until it gets closer to the actual launch, since many lotteries have only given it preliminary approval but not passed the rules. The states mentioned in the article as participating were Missouri, Indiana, Iowa and Michigan; I know that South Dakota, Maryland, and New Hampshire are also on the list, among the 22 states that have already signed on. There are 34 states in MUSL so i
