i'm betting that's why NY is considering pulling ou of mega millions. they're too worried that CA will see all the winners.mega millions did a few things wrong when they came up with the game changes. they didn't add enogh balls. they took away a few numbers for the mega ball when they should have added more. they should have also increased the starting jackpot by much more (i'm talking it should be $15-20 million).

Actually, New York is only thinking of pulling out of Mega Millions because the state is considering barring gambling all together - therefore, the NY Lotto would probably cease to exist as well if Mega Millions does.

Mega Millions will change only if and when California joins. In fact, they will even keep the changes even if New York leaves Mega Millions (for some weird reason, they're thinking of kicking NY out).
