Powerball Sets A New Record
Jake649, I hope PB continues to roll. Besides, both MM and PB games are fixed, but also a fair game because they're ball drawn, not computerized. I know that PB is losing the war against MM in terms of sales. Therefore, MM has the jackpot roll record runs advantage over PB.

Mega Millions Sets A New Record
Jake649, I hope MM continues to roll. Also, at 189 million right now, it's ahead of the previous roll 12 record of 175 million. I think MM sales are outweigh PB now especially how PB has backload annunity payments and less cash.

I predict Powerball will roll
With the way the Powerball jackpots have been rolling, it's very possible the next record annuity jackpot will hit between $365 and $390 million if Powerball keeps rolling, in which case there is no match 5 bonus pool but the cap increases. Of course, Powerball could also roll once more beyond that if that happens, in which case we may very well see the first $400 million annuity jackpot.

Probability of a MegaMillions rollover.
Prob988, that's a great probability you've got. I hope MM continues to roll until it breaks the North American Record Jackpot set by PB.

Reach $300m in these current runs
Do you mean for this run? It will definitely break 400 eventually, and so will MM. It's just a question of when. They'll eventually break 500 too, and MM will probably get there well ahead of PB since the cap means it may have to reach record levels 6 times to pass 500.
Including the current draw, PB needs to sell about 196 million more tickets to fund a $300 million dollar annuity, which would be about $140 million cash. Probability predicts about 1.3 winners for that many tickets.

Ohio LOP promotion
The April 2 LOP may have set a record for payout (excluding the jackpot) but IMHO it won't be of much help after the promotion is over. Sort of an April Fool's joke.

Powerball Sets A New Record
I hope it continues to roll Jake649. Also, the previous jackpot of 135 million also would be a record in terms of next roll? People are most interested when it hits the cap (390 million).

Powerball Sets A New Record
I think PB will roll again and set another record because PB is limiting the number of 5/5 and increasing their sales and revenues. I hope this trend continues to roll.

Newspaper to decline advertising from N.C. Lottery Commission
No kidding. Wow the daily record of Dunn. I think we have several free papers in Seattle with way higher circulation. I think they would want to advertise somewhere that people would notice it.

Cash $ 7 million difference PB MM
The odds of winning with PowerBall are a little better because it has fewer numbers but that doesn't change the fact that MegaMillions sell more tickets. Both games are awesome which makes it's less likely that players in states that have one of them will travel out of state to play the other unless the jackpot is a record amount.
