What are the odds of that happening? 3 jackpots in 2 years and you get shutout? if you knew they didn't take debit cards the first time why didn't you just pay cash going forward or find another place? that's too bad.

Actually back in the 80's they did jack the price of the ticket up to $2 but it was too early and didn't last too long. For a short while they had two different games with one drawn on Wednesday and the Other on Saturday. One was 6/44 and the other was 6/47. That was even back when the games had great rolls and decent Jackpots.

No, if something like that was permissible, it could open up a pandora's box of shenanigans such as the lottery declaring an actual winning ticket invalid and then dumping that money back into the pool to create even more of a buying frenzy. I wonder how much of returned jackpots to the states actually end up as bonuses for the lottery corporation ceo and executives? It would be nice if some of the returned money could be used to bless veterans, teachers, homeless people, orphans and such. If so

The Fairgrounds trumpet sound would sound on the whole casino intercom, then on the slot display screen, horses would race. The #4 horse was the first place winner for the Wildfire, or Quickfire Jackpots, you would get that amount of money in Freeplay on a separate card for the high limit gaming area. People who played the Jackpot Freeplay $100.00 max bet won big, taxes had to be paid on the win amount.

I predict some time next year California Lottery will experiment with a price change and/or matrix change to get the jackpots higher to better compete with multi-state games. Maybe raise it to $2 per line, or $3 for two lines.
