Cash vs Annuity
I went to the N.M. site earlier looking for the answer, but decided I didn't want to d/l that PDF. The OP was unclear as to what game they were referring.
I ALWAYS play the multiplier because it would not be aggravation but probably real nausea to realize I had left several million bucks on the table for not shelling out the extra buck. I've never won any huge prizes, but I did get the bonus ball twice over the last few drawings and instead of winning only $4, I won $12 each time. Whoopee!

1 I don't get private emails from Official Lottery Offices informing me that they decided to either discontinue their games nor change the matrix of the game, or add additional games per day.
2 I do this for free and try to keep on top of all the changes.
3 Multiple draws for the same game per day. I'll explain in a video one day this week. Changing just the draw dates to bogus dates will work. That is, change the most current drawing to today's date, under this date subtract the current d

Possible New Mega Millions Changes
The Texas Lottery has a link on its home page for the following proposed rule changes to Mega Millions:
(i) an increase in the purchase price from $1 to $2 per Play
(ii) changing the game matrix from 5/75 (selection of five numbers from a field of 75 numbers) plus 1/15 (one number from a field of 15 numbers) to 5/70 (five numbers from a field of 70 numbers) plus 1/25 (one number from a field of 25 numbers);
(iii) offering a new optional jackpot-only wager called Just the Jackpot , in w

Buy In Bulk Or Buy A couple?
What other draw games does your state offer? Any time you go from the millions to the thousands, your chances of winning are infinitely better.
For example, the odds of winning the Powerball is 1 in 292 million. The odds of winning the Fantasy 5 game with a jackpot of $200k+ in Florida is about 1 in 377k. There are people in Florida who have won the Fantasy 5 jackpot multiple times over the years. They have prize rolldowns if the jackpot isn't won, and you win a free ticket if you match

so i bought the first 8 tickets from a book of $20 100x the money here in IL.
I personally would only buy a book of tickets with a purpose. Generally speaking, buying entire books is a fast way to lose money.
I've bought probably over 100 books of scratchoff tickets, and I'd say 60-70 were minimum payouts ($205-$245/$600) here in Florida. The only time I'd recommend buying books if if a game has one, or multiple jackpots remaining and is toward the end of it's life and is down to the last 1-3% of tickets remaining. When you buy books of tickets, unless you hit somethi

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Thanks for sharing Ghost! The odds on the $10 ticket is really good for $500 hits, and the odds on the $20 ticket is amazing for $500 hits.
The odds of hitting $100k is 1 in 60k, along with the 20k prize. Am I reading this right? Can that be a typo? To me, hitting a $100k prize is life changing. Hitting $500 on the $20 Monopoly ticket is 1 in 171, better odds than the $20 Gold Rush ticket.
The $1 Monopoly ticket has a better chance of hitting $100 than the Hundreds of Dollars ga

To strategize or not to strategize? That is the question
From the moment you purchase a second unique combination a myriad of sub odds come into existence.
Every filter has its odds of being correct based on the sizes of populations it represents. As you add filters so you add odds of filters in combination being correct. When you end with 50 lines or 5 lines it is with the same overall odds of 50 or 5 lines against game size, but you also know what's in there is based on your strategy and if your strategy proves correct you must win because you

The "Holy Grail"
Simple 6/49 game, my strategy is to improve my odds in some draws in exchange for making it impossible to win a jackpot in the others.
My strategy example is to not include any of the winning numbers from the previous draw changing the game from 6/49 to 6/43. I will be correct roughly 45% of the time and when my strategy is working my odds drop from 1 in 13.9 million to 1 in 6 million.
When I am wrong and one or more of the numbers from the previous appear and because I am not playin

Oh, Spring products, nice!
So you're in Eastern Washington? Perhaps we could trade places? I want -desperately- to be playing Washington's Match 4 game. I SO WISH Idaho could adopt a game like that, and I even wrote a letter to the lottery commission about it once, but no.... they had to create a lame game like Weekly Grand .
I plan on moving back to Washington as soon as I can, as my husband died last year and my son turns 18 next summer. Husband and son were 2 reasons I had to stay her

Those of You Giving Up Powerball
What are you playing instead?
We only have one in-state game and the top prize is $52K taxes paid which works out to around $67K IIRC. Not worth a $2 bet IMHO since that isn't even a life-changing amount. So for now I'm planning on playing an extra Lucky for Life.
I'm considering going over to Oregon to play their jackpot game that's worth a couple million right now.
I'll continue to play Hot Lotto and Wild Card 2, but I won't increase my play on those.
Will you be putting your Pow
