Man charged in lottery ticket theft case
If you bought a lottery ticket at Valley Supreme Liquors in Pine Bush, New York, and lost, you might want to blame the clerk who sold it to you. He might have stolen a jackpot meant for you. While Michael M. Ciarcia worked at the liquor store, he stole more than $40,000 worth of lottery tickets a few of which were winners, according to state police in Middletown. Ciarcia, who worked at the store for six months, was arrested last week and charged with second-degree burglary and third

Retailers luckier than expected, Atlantic Lotto says
Before I hand the tickets over to the clerk, I tell them I'll keep the loosers. On a few occasions, they throw them out anyway, and I make them retrieve it. Doing that makes me suspicious enough to have them checked at another store. Never had one be a winner though. I still try to check my tickets at a limited number of places, where I'm not concerned about theft. In Delaware this is less of a problem because the self-checkers tell you exactly how much you've won.

Store Managers playing sscratch offs
So many people have claimed that a store knows which scratch-off tickets are winners and which are not, but the clerks I ask say that's not true. I have absolutely no idea. However, if you believe this woman is committing an act of fraud or theft, then by all means report her. You can probably do this anonymously, although you will need some kind of proof, which is important any time you file an accusation. If you feel strongly that she is cheating, there might be an investigation into the matte

Illinois Lottery exploring Internet sales again
Anyone that has driven on IL highways in their travels know it needs money to get them up to the par of other states. Unfortunately, the money that was apportioned for the IL highway system via excessive tolls has been consistently stolen by secretarys of state, IDOT and right on up to the governor's mansion as long as I can remember....and that's a long time. The real question, is this just another treasury for more theft and corruption? IL has always been notorious in crooked contracts grante

Im done with Powerball...
Read other threads. There is a concensus, stupid people are going to do stupid things. In Arabia, they chop your hands off for theft. People keep stealing. Nothing will stop it. Don't worry about it. Do what you feel is best and let the rest do what they think is best. Remember, you don't know a thing about them, until you have walked in their shoes; then all you really know is that they have stinky feet.

Anyone use this guys system?
MillionsWanted is correct: theft of lottery systems is RAMPANT on the Internet, and most of the so-called systems you see for sale out there are ripoffs of someone else's hard work. In many cases (pretty much all the systems that guarantee a win), they are copies of copies of copies. By the time the thing gets to you, it is completely useless, which is what it probably was when it started. This is one reason why it's important that Platinum and Gold members at Lottery Post be vigilant in no
