The Rhode Island Lottery plans to double the prize money for the Wild Money drawing on Saturday after it discovered a mistake in the game earlier this week.During Tuesday's Wild Money drawing, an employee discovered the No. 11 ball was missing from the machine used to draw the numbers. Whenever I go onto a retailer buy lottery or whatever .If I see a ticket that someone didn't purchase on the machine,I always ask is it for sale and if so I'll buy..I just did that a couple of days ago on a Powerball ticket.. I washed my wallet once and tried drying everything out on paper towels in the microwave. It worked well except for my lottery ticket. It started to burn up the bar code and ticket serial numbers. I took it back to the store and told them what happened. They were able to type enough of the bar code/serial numbers into the lottery machine to cash it. Got my $80.

Maryland resident here! Once you scan an old ticket, the machine will ask if you'd like to replay your numbers or not. If the ticket is too old, you would manually enter your numbers. Another function I love about Maryland machines is that you can actually see the QP numbers on the screen and choose to throw those back or purchase that ticket. I noticed in VA and NC that those machines don't allow you to see the numbers first.

It's these free tickets !!!! March is suppose to be my month! These free tickets sure are using up a lot of paper. They pause the machine to print on your ticket you've won a free ticket !!
