What would the experts do with a lottery jackpot?
Leave it to you Chewie to set the record straight. You're forthright. One never has to guess with where you stand on matters. Its true that TITHING is a Church ploy and not a GOD issue. Churchs are a business that are not for profit so in keeping with that idea, no need for them to profit off of a hard earned paycheck or a well earned jackpot. Be a person a beleiver of a faith or not, it has no bearing on who wins the jackpot.

News Conference
I would not mind winning a smaller jackpot a few weeks after a record jackpot win. Then I would remain invisible. I say a few weeks because I would not want to make the news for a 'back to back' jackpot win. While the media is interviewing the $400 million dollar winners, I sneak quietly out the back door with my mere $50 million.

News Conference
If I could avoid it, I would. If it is an extremely large jackpot, near a record setting amount I would do it asap to get that past me. But if it is a relatively small one in comparison, I would avoid it like the plague.

Georgia Hot Sheet
I wish I knew for the record how many times that sheet has the numbers in the Hot Picks. It really takes no prisoners. Cash 3 and Cash 4 last night 8014, right in the Cash 4 Hot Picks. There is a lot of competiton here in Atlanta, but I really think I got'em....by a long shot.

Powerball adding 10x ball to PowerPlay
Yea I used to do that a lot also. But then record jackpots started luring me away from my system. More plays usually equals better paybacks, with the powerball usually being an exception.

Powerball Sets A New Record
Jake649, not only it set a new 3 roll record, but it rolled. I'm happy for that in PB. I hope it keeps rolling until it reaches the cap again and then someone wins.

Mega Millions lottery jackpot increases to $18 million
If any game were close to a record it would be Euromillions. Only 8 more rolls and it will take 2nd place on the biggest jackpot list. Megamillions has failed for years now to roll at the 300 million level and only broke the 300 million level once. Considering the 100 million more combinations than Euromillions it should be at the #1 spot by now.

Mega Millions probably saw an increase in multi-draw tickets hoping for a record run which carried over to these draws since the jackpot was hit. Or maybe Mega Millions had starting jackpot Lotto Fever!-weshar75

Mega Millions Sets A New Record
MM momentum showed a new record Jake649. Most MM players thought that MM would roll in the last draw. That's why they buy tickets in anticipation of current draw.

Small Town Speculates On Lottery Winner
Only if they choose cash. If they make the wrong choice, they will more than double the US record for an annuity prize (1993; Powerball did not have a cash option then).
