If a dual (UK/USA) citizen wins the Euro Jackpot?Reply
I said having dual citizenship is irrelevant because the only citizenship relevant to the IRS on foreign lottery jackpots is a U.S. citizenship. Every time I read an article about frequent winners I wonder why it's so difficult for those people to understand they are buying tickets from winners that want to avoid IRS problems. Can't they see almost all of those prizes are under $100,000?

yes indeed. Lost quite a bit. bee stings worse but took the wasp stings this time. all ok..it was a bigun jackpots... wanted to spend that much an try out. wwitjout training wheels.. a big tricycle clone of loosing tickets. almost frosty the snowman happy when getting the bonus balls though..an rudolf the freddy kreuger monster delight when it was with mega plier. =)

I am kind of a fan of letting the PB get to $100 Million Cash value mark... MM to get up to $100-$150 Million Cash value range. Can depend if someone I participate with, asks when the advertised annuity is over $100 Mill or maybe buying a gift/Christmas present if the jackpots are below the $100 Million mark.

I AM GOING TO BOYCOTT POWERBALL AND MEGA MILLIONS because Powerball advertised a $750M jackpot when it was only $687M and Mega Millions advertised a $1.6B jackpot when it was only $1.58B. Lotteries do what the people want, the people have consistently and clearly said that they want HUGE jackpots and they don't care how winners come about as a result. YOU might want more winners at the expense of jackpot size, but as a whole the wishes of the people are clear.

Also does anyone think that if the person(s) claim anonymously this will effect the future health of large jackpot progression. We already know of all the people who complain about it being rigged rather it be from fellow members or the people standing behind you at the local 7-Eleven. Yes DR65 you are on track the jackpots are to high they should put a cap on it and pay out bigger amounts for 3 - 4 - 5 numbers without the mega ball 1.6 billion lets say 600 million cap and all above that pay out to rest of players matching 3 4 5 numbers without the mega ball and if no one hit all 5 and mega rest of money goes into lower pool for better prizes gives everyone a piece of the pie
