Well, Lotto Texas is competing head-to-head with Mega Millions (with Megaplier), which is structured the same (Pick 5 then 1 more), but is easier to win and has bigger jackpots. Maybe they should try to distance Lotto TX from Mega Millions by going back to 6/50 (call it Classic Lotto Texas). You gotta have variety in the kind of games you offer. A simple difference in payout won't make much of a difference.

i would feel really bad if the ticket went unclaimed. someone should do a story about the people who forget to cash in winning multi-million dollar tickets because it happens more often then people think (14. Ocean:No, All Lotto does not store Mega Millions past results in draw order. Besides, why wouldn't you just get the past Mega Millions results from USA Mega?? It is MUCH easier to get the past results there, and USA Mega also has the Texas Megaplier history, as well as all Powerball results.

If the lotteries did not have liability limits, then all online games would be pari-mutuel. Even Powerball and Mega Millions have prize liability limits; they're just so huge that it's unlikely they'll ever bust (Mega Millions limits total prize liability for a drawing to the lower of 300% of sales or 50% of sales + $50 million).
