I noticed that too. I was beginning to wonder if sales were flat or lower than expected. Sales must really be taking off way above normal. If any run is capible of a record it would be this one. It's got to survive one or two very tough rolls though.

The cash value is now - a whopping $159,000,000! If it rolls tonight it will certainly top PB's cash value record of $177,000,000.

I hope it does roll one more time after another jackpot increase. I also hope that MM reaches near the North American record of 365 million set by PB a few weeks ago and then someone win.

I personally think this MM roll will be the first to top $400,000,000 jackpot. But more importantly, I think it will roll at least until 3/3 and top the Cash Value record PB had of $177m

The real thing to wait for this roll is if they have a jackpot adjustment. If they bump the jackpot up between now and Tuesday that means sales are really on a roll and if no one wins a record could happen. No adjustment means sales are either where the expected or a little less.

Hmmm. That was my 200th post! Good things happen in increments of 100 for me. Hmmm. Mega Millions, I asked for a World Record Jackpot, but I will gladly settle for $2,000,000, or $200,000.00, even $2,000.00.

My idea is to make current game(Mega millions or Powerball) a cash only game and raise ticket price to $2 each. I think this will drive us to the record jackpot faster.

I think it will break 260 before the drawing on Tuesday. Only two drawings to break a record. One to break 300. Might go 260 then 325 then 420.

Record Powerball lottery jackpot claimed by 8 meat plant workersReply
Congratulations to the meat plant workers in Nebraska winning the North American Jackpot record of 365 million in Powerball. Good job for them taking cash value. I hope the meat plant workers continue to work or retire, but don't have financial problems in the future.

You right! I just read official rules and ther is nothing there. I always though that since The Big Game reached a record $363M. Somehow I though they said it would only increase by $25M from now on. Its been a long six years.
