Saliu Lottery System
The only thing that I've ever read that would pass a good B.S. filter is The odds are somebody will win and it won't be you , so far that has been right, but I keep playing hoping to beat the odds.RJOh

Hpothetical Pick System
Every lottery number picking system have the same goals of picking some winning numbers, no matter how much effort or time goes into coming up with the final results, unless it does better than randomly picked numbers then it's no better than a QP, but it's still entertaining to lose your own special way.RJOh

Powerball 8-26-2004
Over the years, the lotteries have done a good job of spreading the stories about rejected tickets that would have won the jackpot to encourage people to keep any tickets that are punch in by mistake and it has worked pretty good. In cases where it has not worked, they've changed the rules so someone has to keep the tickets because it save money for the states.RJOh

Which method of play is better?
Playing 10 lines in all 55 pick 3 games means every line has a 1/220 x 55 or 55:220 chance of a box hit and with 10 lines a player can expect to have 550/220 or 2-3 box hits every times. It may be fun and enjoyable to have some wins, but spending $550 to get $120 is not a strategy for the real world.RJOh

I think the lottery is Rigged
Quote: Originally posted by Benjamin'04 on August 26, 2004I too kinda believe that it is odd that the alrdy rich people hit the jackpots, rarley in our urban areasCould it be that rich people can afford to buy more tickets than other folks and therefore they are likely to win more often. People who can't afford to lose, shouldn't play.RJOh
