I agree. The problem is that most people can't stop at just one ticket. If players only bought one ticket, these (fake) jackpots wouldn't be so big, and MM (and PB) would have no choice but to come up with a more reasonable prize structure. They have intentionally made it extremely difficult to win for the express purpose of making the (fake) jackpot hundreds of millions of dollars which causes a ticket-buying rush.

I thought they were always live. I usually log onto Valottery.com and watch it in the little window. OK that's a lie......when the jackpots get this big I refuse to log on and look at it until the next day after I've taken a shower and relaxed. I live in a apartment but I legit want to yell Hallelujah when I win so doing it at 9am sounds more reasonable than 11:05 pm!!

I could see it happening just because there were there are more people buying PB than MM if you look at the amount of tickets bought compared to the level of the jackpots. But no I don't want MM to get much higher.

It would be nice if they could figure out a way to build massive jackpots, but make the odds of winning the lower tier prizes better. I rarely even get the lowest prize, but it sure makes me happy when I do! lol

True... They've got to get people to buy tickets when the jackpots are small before they can grow into a beast like this one (these two, really.) The last I checked the entire population of the US is around 300M, so the odds are like picking one American out all Americans.
