Mega Millions lottery jackpot swells to $405 millionReply
Last time I played Megabucks slot machine (not Megamillions) it was $3/pull. You are correct, the jackpots all read the same in Laughlin, Las Vegas, Reno and of course Lake Tahoe NV. Last time I was in McCarran couldn't find one, maybe in the smoking section which I won't frequent.

Btw- if a camera crew wanted to check out my place, they better be wearing sandals, cause we will be walking white shores, in the Seychelles. Take as much pictures as you like, it's my vacation abode. As much as l support the PB MM jackpots, they always seem out of reach. When that happens, which is often, l always go with Plan B: Our State Lottery. That puppy presently sits at a cool $12Mil after taxes, in a word, it's doable. Going for the Low hanging fruit is always an option.

It's more like pot-luck than pot blocking!!! It just happened to be an office pool that won this time, but many jackpots have been won by individuals and multiple players from various states sharing the same jackpot. Those bank employee pool that won this time would probably never win another big jackpot like that.

Then there is the flip side of living in one of those top 5 states and hearing winner from FL, winner from FL, winner from FL but it's never you. Bottom line is, the odds are so high MM is now averaging 6 jackpots a year.
