Something stinks with Powerball
If your speculation turns out to be true, it'll be a litmus test
to see how quickly they respond by correcting the error.
That is, a test to see if indeed these industry execs pay
attention to LP as some have surmised.

Quick decision: New Ark. Lottery chief recommends Powerball
I think this is a serious error in judgement. Arkansas is surrounded by Powerball states, most notably with Tennessee. Now, those people in Memphis who could have crossed the Big Muddy to get Mega Millions in Arkansas, will now most likely be keeping their money at home. Not to mention folks in Monroe, LA, Joplin, MO, and tourists to Branson. Ernie will probably make better decisions for other aspects of the lottery, but this is a real missed opportunity.
As for the whole Powerball/Mega in th

Scratch Offs Not Being Paid
We received a phone call from Billy Vaughn from the lottery Security Dept for the Ky Lottery. He had looked the transaction up on the computer and he found it! He said that they should have given the $6.00 for the ticket and not 6 more scratch offs. He said he will call them and inform them of their mistake. We found out also that for the past 6 months the Ky Lottery has changed their payout system to be more like TN and other lotteries around the country. Here is what he said:
If you play a

The fact of the matter is:
In many cases: Users don't have the manual, and if they did, they wouldn't read it.
Unfortunately: Users can't read anything, and if they could, they don't want to.
When they do software usability tests: There are quite a few users who simply do not read words that are put on the screen: If the software pops up an error box of any sort: Users simply will not read it.

A New Way of Generating Key Numbers For The P4
To change the draw stack to 50 look for the line of code that reads:
while(!feof(in) i 20);
There should be four occurrances of this(one for each segment). The number 20 assumes that the first 20 draws will be considered in the draw file. Change each 20 to 50 if you want to analyze the first 50 draws and then recompile the code. Remember that you must have at least 50 past draws in the draw file, otherwise you'll get an error.

My ticket has a missing bar code.
Whichever choice you make, the problem with poorly printed tickets that can't be cancelled is that they could potentailly cost you the entire prize. If a ticket with a missing barcode is a QP and happens to be the only winning ticket for a huge jackpot, what happens if the ticket can't be validated? Even if you've chosen the numbers, if you buy another ticket, the misprinted ticket could still account for 1/2 or 1/3 of a jackpot.
At least in theory, a ticket could be printed with absolutely n
