Ok, Earl Livingston gets only $7,092 in that hospital lottery pool. Now, let's say that Earl and that 141 hospital workers and of course that guy from South Carolina, a total of 143 persons had won that huge Mega Millions jackpot of $1.537 billion. How much money would each would have won? I got my calculator out and it came out to $10,748,252. It would have been great but that didn't happen, only one lucky guy from South Carolina had won!

$7,000 and less after taxes from a $1milloiins win? Notworth it at all. don't bother being in a pool of that size. 141 people... pathetic! the sky will cast luck gaze but too many its not for. platter of plate balances checkbooks of supposed to be big wins not chump changes to the lions mane.

Yes DR65 you are on track the jackpots are to high they should put a cap on it and pay out bigger amounts for 3 - 4 - 5 numbers without the mega ball 1.6 billion lets say 600 million cap and all above that pay out to rest of players matching 3 4 5 numbers without the mega ball and if no one hit all 5 and mega rest of money goes into lower pool for better prizes gives everyone a piece of the pie

I hope it was a group of people that did it. Maybe an office pool people or maybe workers and they're luck came in. The next thing for this ticket holder(s) to get financial, lawyer and accountant and an advisor for the spokespeople. Then the planning.

My office did a little pool (under $100) when it hit a billion, but we didn't do it again for this drawing (we did roll the $4 we won into another couple of tickets, but that's all). I suspect a lot of groups did the same.

l take it back, pulled into that gas station in Milpitas off Dixon landing road. It's the spot that sold the winning jp ticket to the guy who showed up in at the lottery office in a Jedi T shirt covered his head with the oversized check, yeah him. There was a line of probably 15 people waiting their turn, folks who are hoping for lightning to strike twice.Picked up 2 tickets here took off. Could hear the lady behind me say, that she was picking up tickets for the office pool.
