$300 million January jack-pot
yeah, there'll be a record, but i don't think it'll be this particular growing jackpot. it'll be one of the next couple after it. it'll be close, though.

$300 million January jack-pot
I think the lottery will be fixing it so that it is a record again. Seems about that time. Nonetheless I will be hitting it on Jan 7th as I said awhile back.

Preparation for picking up the prize.
According to the tax laws I've read you are suppose to pay taxes on all your lottery winnings. Signing all your tickets even the ones under $600 leaves a paper trail back to you. Many people neglect to record these winnings on their tax forms because they are not included on the W-2G the state send you for your winnings of $600 or more. If your are including these small winnings on your tax forms then that shouldn't be a problem.

Pick 3 Research - New System to be Tested
I personally think that some of the people here on the forum are grasping at straws, cps10. I understand that having the inception of a state's lottery placed into excel can take a while (multiply that by 53 states--and whoa) Just for the record, I never thought that you were promoting a business (maybe, I'm naive) Thanks anyways. And if you send me the template, I will definitely send you MI. It's something that I already have in excel (just maybe not in the format that you would like) Good L

The Current Powerball Jackpot?
My vote is for yes. I think PB will roll and go over $100 million on the next drawing. Then on Saturday one PB jackpot winner will be hit. I would be surprised if PB hits a new North American jackpot record in this current run.

Powerball Sets A New Record
The current 8 roll record is $75.8 million. I do not report new records for Powerball until after the draw when the jackpot is adjusted to the actual value and not the estimated value.

PowerBall odds for 100 tickets?
Would it be possible to buy 146 million Powerball tickets and cover all of the statistical set of numbers if the Jackpot reached a new record of say $365M? It would only make sense to do something like this if it was a staggering amount.
