Mass-Cash Like Game Coming to Pa ...
I've often wondered what it is that influences decisions the most on what games (both online and scratch off) lottery officials decide to offer.
IMHO, Mass Cash would work in PA. If it's the population of the state they use, then PA could definitely support a game such as Mass Cash. PA is 6th in population with 12.7 million. Mass is 14th with 6.5 million.
I know that changing a product that's been successful can backfire badly, so that may be why states are reluctant to retire one game in

Why I want my pool to win more than ever right now
Maybe you should try changing your pool, from a PB/MM pool, to a Pick 4 pool instead. You might have more luck winning quicker, by playing a different lottery game. Pool your money to win Pick 4. Just a $20 bet on a winning Pick 4 number in STRAIGHT form, wins $100,000. How much $$$ do you typically play, when you pool ???
The point is, perhaps you should DOWNSIZE from Million Dollar expectations, to THOUSAND dollar expectations, instead. You might win faster, b/c it's easier to win at Pick 4

You are welcome!
This is from the Illinois Lottery Powerball FAQ page:
Why Can't I Buy A 52-Week Or 26-Week Subscription For Powerball Anymore?
Your favorite game is getting even better! The Powerball game will be changing in the near future. We are temporarily suspending Powerball 52-week and 26-week subscription purchases until the game changes take effect. You can purchase a 13-week subscription or one of our other multi-play options. More details on Powerball changes will be

How is this not a massive fraud by the Florida Lottery?
Exactly...
Unless there is only 1 top prize for a game, all the top prizes are never in play all at once because all groupings of tickets are not in play at the same time. If the lottery does not release one grouping, or batch, then the odds are exactly the same as they were with more or less groupings.
That being said, I can also understand what the original poster was saying about advertising and promoting a certain number of top prizes and then changing it to fewer top prizes. The

Monopoly Millionaires game
For those keeping up with the MMC shenanigans, I found a couple of recent articles that talk about the show setup etc. So far there have been 2 millionaire winners.

Q+A: Monopoly host Billy Gardell is changing lives $1 million at a time
It looks like SGI has a lot vested into this game, and it's no wonder they didn't cancel the game show.
I still don't have any details on proposed 'fix' for the lottery portion, but I am hoping t

Powerball Matrix Change - April 15, 2015
Thanks for the explanation. Now it makes sense why tickets will offer different multipliers - presumably, to better limit prize liability. Seems to me, lotteries are getting worried about the future of Powerball and Mega Millions. The per draw sales, even at the $100 million jackpot level, aren't all that great. Sales below a certain level make the games too risky to offer without changes, just as what happened with the failed Monopoly Millionaires Club game.
To digress a bit, while PB MM are

Powerball Matrix Change - April 15, 2015
Seems a very bad value to spend another $1 for a second chance with the same odds of hitting all six numbers, but pays $10 million verses $50 million+.
You're right, it is a bad value, but only if the jackpot is above a certain level; otherwise, it is still a good value because the lower prizes per dollar are actually higher than the base game. It sounds like a rip-off but you have to remember they are decreasing the allocation to the first 2 tiers and increasing to the lower ones. Because th

States pull the plug on Monopoly Millionaires' Club
I'm with you on this one. The people bashing the game were complaining about the low top prize cap. This game was never meant to compete with PB and MM. The whole point was that more people would win millions of dollars vs one person winning a huge jackpot. My interest in this game was based on the somewhat realistic chance of winning a $1M vs the impossible odds of winning a PB or MM jackpot. A million after taxes is still life changing money even if I wont retire right away.
The game was po

Poll: New National Game October 19th - Will You Play?
A peeve of mine is that MMC still doesn't explain the details of the Vegas TV game. Appears MUSL is winging it and hoping for the best. A bad sign!
Good point about the different codes - can be confusing; too complicated for some players.
I don't see how adding more states helps matters. On the face, it should, but my hunch is, much as has happened with MM and PB, there will be strings of early jackpot ( top prize ) hits making matters worse. MM and PB can better absorb early hits, and sti

Poll: New National Game October 19th - Will You Play?
You know, I actually told my buddy Thrifty that I wasn't really interested in this game for several reasons and downplayed it at the onset of its' introduction. But, after really looking over the details lately and the 1-52 parameters, it may just be worth a few shots and I'll explain why. When we look at other games like Pick 5/ Cash 5 and others which contain a much smaller parameter (1-38), it's understandable why participation is so limited. The payouts are structured in such a way that it's
