You Can't Lose If You Don't Play
Playing 128 pick 3 numbers the probability of an exact number hit is 12%, 1 in 8.3. This equates to the probability of not hitting to be 1 in 1.14, 88%.
If we take the exact odds approach (though unlikely to occur) and assume 1 in every 8 draws will hit playing 128 numbers with a cost of $256 (your example) $2048 will be spent. Offset this by a win of $744 (your example) this leaves a loss of $1304 for the 8 drawing campaign.
Your example win of $744 indicates more than just a str

A couple of years ago, The Florida Lottery added a midday drawing ...

What happened to jackpots immediately after they added the midday drawings? You seem to be telling us what the jackpots were before the change and what the jackpots are a couple of years later. Lottery sales for games that are exactly the same as they were a few years ago are also down. Declining sales is why MM costs $5 now, and likely why FL added midday drawings.

Florida's Fantasy 5
Couldn't agree more if I had to.
The thing I can't understand is how did The Florida Lottery benefit from adding a midday drawing? They said they were doing it for the players, but that's pure BS. No business does anything without something in it for themselves. I seriously doubt they saw an uptick in the amount of money they were taking in by adding the midday drawing. If anything, I think some players stopped playing Fantasy5 because of the hit to the size of jackpots. IMHO that lowers th

This forecast won the 750 combo in the 5/23 West Virginia evening drawing!!
Prediction Statement: 1 of the 10 combos (per drawing) below will be drawn within 25 drawings (on or before 5/26 6/6) .
Game plan: I'll use the Martingale Betting system to achieve my desired ROI when I win. Play the same combos and state drawings repeatedly every day. I may or may not change the state drawings while the forecast is still active. If I make any ch

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
Florida Raffle 2026: What are the odds?
The return of the Florida Lottery Raffle certainly caught my eye. I have thought about the raffle in years past, but did not realize it had been 20 years since the last one. It looks like they have re-vamped the format (multiple drawings instead of one drawing, multiple million-dollar prizes, all tickets purchased valid for all drawings.) But I am curious as to how they have calculated the odds.
Now, I have played the Florida Lottery Jackpot Trip

Australian man deletes email from lottery about $50 million Powerball jackpot win
Multiple attempts to get ahold of winner within the span of one hour
By Kate Northrop
It took multiple attempts for the Australian Lottery to get ahold of a $50 million (US$35.35 million) Powerball jackpot winner, who had previously deleted a very-real email alerting him to the win.
An Australian man was none the wiser that he had actually won a $50 million Powerball jackpot since he had deleted the initial email informing him that he should claim the prize.
Thankfully, it didn't
