Who to Trust with a Trust??
You won big, but if there's one thing you've learned from being on LP is that you must remain anonymous. So you form a trust (blind, revocable, living, irrevocable, etc.), so you can send a lawyer to collect and control the assets that go into the trust. Really? I'm just gonna hand over all that power to somebody, a lawyer of all people?? That sounds worse than a bad marriage. There has to be a better way.

W. Va. official wins $79M Powerball lottery jackpot
Unfortunately if you won, you would NOT have that option to remain anonymous. It is public information: the winners name, state, age and where ticket was purchased. And if the lottery officlas want to hold a press conference and take video/pictures you have to if you want your check =) Thats why I always say when I win, I will have my picture taken with me wearing some crazy wig, huge sunglasses and acting like a complete wacko so no one would notice me on a normal day =)

$18.5M lottery winner 'scraping by'
What a nice man. It's amazing how it's always the same story. The beast of a thousand hands that comes at you until there's nothing left. I'm afraid he'd still be broke even he'd won a billion. I wish more winners would remain anonymous.

Police reveal financial picture of slain lottery winner
I do not believe FL requires a press conference yes what a mistake. I just wonder how many people 'really' know how they would react if they won a large amount of money? My husband I talk about it we still don't know what we would really do. You don't want to be greedy, yet you don't want every scam artist hunting you down. FL does have a lot of open record laws so I guess one can't remain anonymous (unless they don't cash the ticket). I believe Moore was greedy and probably would have sought hi

Do you tip when you win? Who? How much? Why do you tip?
People should tip if they receive privileges from the store or clerk but in a big win i.e. Jackpot the store will get a commission anyways whether the store will spread the wealth to its employees is another question (I wonder if there's a thread that addresses that...it would be interesting to read what happened behind that kind of scene). When playing roulette in casinos after a win I would place a few bets for the dealer and let them experience the same amount of anticipation as I did during
