How many mistakes do you KNOW were winners?
One time they ran a JC5 ticket through twice and it had 3 of 5. Other times I forgot to mark Midday and the number played as Evening and won Pick-4 box on a Double. Sometimes I had program code that contained a significant coding error but won several times small prizes - to this day I keep code handy from 2004 that does this. Years ago I read on a Mega Millions story a guy played a set twice by mistake and won 2 shares of a jackpot that divided 4 ways, 2 being his.
Question: if they ran the

123 system 9 box set
No Prob.....
We here at the LP find it rather interesting when we all learn from trial and error. Afterall, that's the best type of learning in my opinion.
It is rather ironic, I must have to say, that leaving out that 123 did raise a red flag in my eyes...lol Strangely, tonight's floriduh winning number relied on 123 to have a box win of 122. Hmmmmm....

Kentucky man thought he won lottery jackpot
Eh, I'm not the biggest fan of scratch offs and the use of the so close gimmick on losing tickets, how many times have you just ALMOST got a big winner but were one number or symbol off? That just makes some people want to play more even if they can't afford it, especially those who already have a leaning towards addiction and granted they'll justify spending more either whether it was a close loss or not but I think it just makes it worse.
I also think there's a certain shadyness to mak

Bright 3 template
Does anyone have a blank template file for the Bright 3 program..?The tutorial says it comes with a blank template file of ST3 but after installation, I do not see it. Each time I try to create one I get an error message saying too many or too few characters, please check the file. Any help appreciated.

Why do some people feel computerized drawings are not random?
From what I've read here, BobP's answer sums it up. It's not so much that people think it's so hard to create a decent RNG, it's that people are sure there will be some conspiracy to manipulate the RNG. The conspiracy may take any of a few forms. One is that the lottery will manipulate the RNG to select numbers that maximize their profit. Another is that the programmer(s) who write the RNG code, and/or the people who guard the computers, and/or the people who execute the drawings will manipulate

Odd versus Even
I have a problem. Logic tells me that if I summed every possible number set in a 5/39 game, there should be almost an equal amount of odd sums as well as even sums.
Well, I programmed an Excel spreadsheet to tell me just how many odd sums I would get and just how many even sums I would get. The result was astonding.
There were 171 more odd sums than even sums. I have done everything I know to find the error in my code to no avail. Is there a mathematician in the house that can tell m
