Deadline looming for unclaimed $15M lottery jackpot
Great forum, I chose this topic to respond to first, faced with the same situation. Where would someone find out about the laws of unclaimed lotto 6/49 prizes in Canada? Or if someone could let me know where to find a discussion about that tpe of info that would be great.

Canadian Lotto 649 Jackpot Amounts!
Considering how strong the Canadian Dollar is right now it's a great prize for a 6/49 game. Hopefully a winner will be not from Quebec or Ontario and the rest of Canada can get a piece. I've seen them push the prize upto 30 million for the bonus rounds but not past it. I think it will either be 30 then 4 million or 30 then 35 in the unlikely event of it rolling.

I had no idea PA Match 6 was 2 bucks...
the super 7 does this in canada. you do a quick pick for the first line and it picks the other two lines. it is a 2 dollar game and is played only once a week.

Citizen, officer expose check lottery scam
Culpeper Va. area code is 540. Not much to say other than, it's a shame they can't be taken out of business in a painful way. Wonder if the guys running the show up there in Canada are named Terence or Philip?

I go to Lottery Post Canada most of the time now. It's really convenient--all Canadian lottery talk. As for Canadian lotteries being tax-free, it is because the governments themselves run the lotteries, no middle people or private groups. So when you see a jackpot advertised, it is advertised as the real amount. The goverment already gets their money, since they run it. That is again why you will never see a jackpot at $100 million, as it the prize is always posted after the cut.

Only 1 day left to claim $19M N.J. Lottery jackpot
The thing that agrivates me the most is that none of this money will go back to the players once it's not claimed. The person must have misplaced the ticket or never bothered checking or died of a heart attack. Either way they aren't getting the money. In Canada and most other countries the prize money would go back to players in the form of a higher jackpot. I'm sure the politicians here are too stupid and greedy to let that happen.
