New breakthrough prediction system
Guru:I would be interested in seeing what you can do with Mega Millions and Power Ball... I play Mega Millions more than PB because I live in Virginia. I do use an Excel Spreadsheet for tracking and picking my #'s. That gives me some pretty good information as to what's going on with the Bell-Curve etc.Does, or will your software incorporate MM 1-52 numbers? Chief

General question
The best game to win at is of course, Mega Millions or Powerball. Mega Millions seems to be easier to win, even though it has worse odds. All the states have similar odds for similar games. It doesn't really matter which state.

Megamillions 08/012
KB if you ever get a chance tonight to check out the New York Lotto, you might want to try and see. 7,6 are falling in the same orders as Mega Millions. When 7 fell in the New York Lotto, 3 numbers from that drawing fell when the 7 fell in the Mega Millions.

$13.5 million PB Winner is anonymous!!
Lottery's Frequently Asked Questions Do I Have to Release My Name to the Public? Answer: In 1988, the Michigan Legislature enacted Public Act 243 which gives winners of prizes greater than $10,000 the right to remain anonymous. However, Mega Millions winners are exempt from this act. The names and cities of residence for all Michigan Lottery Mega Millions winners (including the jackpot) are considered public record

TX to decide Thursday 7/31 which game
But I do believe Mega Millions records are open to public inspection. All winners that come forward have been indentified. And I remember seeing somewhere the you can't claim prizes anonymously in Mega Millions. Can you in Powerball?Brad

ND to join Hot Lotto

I missed this comment when you posted it earlier this week. It's an interesting point, and makes sense to me.However, the counter-point would be that Georgia does stand to lose a certain amount of money that it currently makes in sales of Mega Millions tickets to Tennessee border residents.

Massachusetts
TG:My guess is that the INSURANCE COMPANIES (or whatever sell annuities to the Mass. Lottery) want to keep making money off of players' winnings. If the 6/42, 6/49, and scratch game winners were allowed to choose lump sum, the vast majority would, and the annuity sellers would have fewer chances to make money. As to why Mass. winners of Mega Millions ARE allowed to choose cash, it has to be the fact that Mega Millions is a multi-state game.
