I've read from different sources over the years that 1-2-3-4-5-6 is the most popular combination played in most lotteries, so if it ever comes up, there will be a lot of winners. When you look at its history in most lotteries, it has done as well as any other combination that has never won when you consider the smaller tier prizes.RJOh

Jackpot winner tries to lay low
Neighbors said they have seen carloads full of strangers swirling around Williams' home. One group stopped and yelled, Honey, I'm home, in the hours after Williams was identified as the Lottery winner, one neighbor said. Sounds like it would have been a good idea to have moved to one of those 'gated' community before picking up her winning or picked it up on her way to a new and unknown address.RJOh

who's the most Accurate Predictor here?

Predictors are working individually, there is no UNITYThat's the way I like it, any other way you get too many chiefs in the tribe, too many queens in the hive or too many cooks in the kitchen. Predicting isn't a job, it's a hobby. I post the numbers I'm putting my money on and others should do the same. Take what you like, there's plenty to choose from but no guarantees.RJOh

Postal workers sue for share of Mega Millions lottery prize
I think some people would file a suit even if they knew they didn't deserve any of your money hoping you would make them an offer to just get rid of the aggravation. The bad thing if you do that then you give them grounds to convict a court that they really deserve an equal share and you could end up paying them even more. It like pleading no contest to a crime you didn't commit because it's cheaper than the expense of defending yourself , you still have to pay the fine. RJOh

UK Lotto for Saturday 7/10/2004
There are not any 2 plays for $1 any more in Ohio, that ended over 15 years ago. They now have scratch off tickets for $10 and up. I think New York's 6/59 game is 2 plays for $1 yet.RJOh

UK Lotto for Saturday 7/10/2004
Kristin, I think those tickets are worth about $2 per play in U.S. currency. I see one of the Canadian lottery is $2 per play now also. Some State lotteries have considered during the same thing, but I hope not too soon because I like the games even better when they were 2 plays per $1.RJOh

Around the World Draws - a valid History?
If either of you come up with some common trends for all 649+B lotteries, post them and I'll give them a try in OhioSuperLotto. So far in 416 drawings there have only been 136 winners with 3 odd and even numbers. In the earlier history there were occurrences of 3/3 up to four draws several times, but haven't been any lately, so maybe the numbers are getting mixed up better.RJOh

Transporting lotto tickets across state
There were some stories a few years back about people going to lottery States when the jackpots were large, buying tickets and bringing them back to a none lottery state and trying to sell them for a profit, but now that every State or its neighbor have a lottery, I haven't read any similar stories lately.RJOh
