Win Your Lottery by Lotto-Logix Is Now Available
Didn't we do this once before by email? Search Feast is a real search engine that automatically searches for lottery systems so it isn't some crappy unrelated popup. It can only appear once per visit (only on some of the lesser pages) unless you keep on killing it and reloading the page or are running some kind of anonymous surf program. If you don't like the site, feel free to make a better one. BobP

The real reason why lottery winners have problems!
I agree with rundown99's comments in the OP of this thread, mostly, but I don't think you can pin things down to any one reason. In many cases people just don't consider the possible future consequences of their actions and decisions- couple that with winning a lottery jackpot and they night be shaking hands with old Duzzin Bodewell! As far as people seeking their 15 minutes of fame, just consider some of the polls discussions here on LP about remaining anonymous or not.

Anonymity to avoid lawsuits - frivolous and otherwise
I'd prefer to remain anonymous so as not to hear from the 675,000 cousins that surface when someone wins a jackpot. David Lee Edwards, famous for saying, You can't fix stupid - who won a jackpot, bought a home in Florida and lost it because he stopped paying his association fees, said when he won he was getting sacks of mail everyday addressed to Lottery winner and asked the post office to stop delivering it. They said they had to because they knew where he lived and who it was intended for.

Anonymity to avoid lawsuits - frivolous and otherwise
The reason to be anonymous is to reduce the number of people who ask for money. It's very unlikely to make a difference in the number of frivoulous lawsuits that might come your way. Knowing you have money could make you a more attractive target, but it's your actions that make you a target in the first place. Even Jack Whittaker only managed to be sued by a few people, and he seems to have been very good at making himself a target. That makes me think I'd have very little to worry about. Wha

24 year-old Calif. man claims lottery riches
I am very happy for this young man and hope he enjoys his winnings. I have a feeling though, he will come to regret that press conference. There are just too many unscrupulous people out there who will do their best to seperate him from his money. I have read so many stories about lotttery winners who say if they could do it all over again, the one thing they would do differently is to keep quiet about winning. I have noticed that on the California Lottery Website it says that they are requir

24 year-old Calif. man claims lottery riches
what if the drawing computer scans your multi-draw numbers and avoid to draw that numbers. There is no way for the lottery folks to avoid drawing any numbers. I find is crazy that US lotteries require winners to disclose their names, that turns people into sitting ducks It does have it's down sides, but the positive side is that the public knows the drawing is not corrupt. If every winner was to remain anonymous, it would be much easier to hide if dirty lottery CEO's were paying themsel

24 year-old Calif. man claims lottery riches
Moitz said he pounded on his roommate's door and had him verify the numbers matched those drawn. Since then, Moitz said he's been texting and calling relatives to share the news. Not a good idea! He should have kept quiet. He will be inundated with pleas for 'help', from family and friends and people he doesn't know. He should have got a good lawyer and tried to remain anonymous. I wish him the best and I hope he invested the vast majority of it for the future. while $32 m

Piqua lottery winners sued by co-workers
Yeah just the point is, there's a crime being committed there. People trying to take what isn't theirs. Now this isn't to say there are legitimate claims to be made as to winning tickets being shared ventures between people, but there's just too much room to allow for someone to extort you under a watercooler discussion of if you won or a he said/she said type deal. There should be a real threat of criminal charges if you try to pull this on someone and it comes to light that you really had no l

Indiana Powerball lottery winners likely to remain anonymous
I don't blame them. Although it's nice to read the stories, I'd want to remain anonymous too. Florida insists that the names of all winners must be public information, but I wonder if a good lawyer could find a loophole. Even when claimed as a Trust or LLC, the names of the individuals are listed in the press releases. I'd hate my name to be announced in the newspaper. However, if I ever win millions, I guess I'll learn to suffer the consequences! Regarding a pool, I think they're fine, but I
