I think cali has won like two jackpots a year for a while but I am not interested when they win I want to be the other winners that do not come from cali. I know that my state does not have a lot of wins in powerball but we do have a decent amount of second prize winners and I would like to be one of those winners myself. Except people have stopped winning the SLP. There have only been 2 winners in the past year. They use to average around 10-12 jackpots a year but the past 2 years it has tanked. Nothing has changed about the games either.

I guarantee that they aren't cursing the billion dollar jackpot. They made more money and got more free publicity for that jackpot than any other in history. Those massive jackpots are their bread and butter. The bigger the jackpot the better for them. Otherwise they'd revert to an easier to win matrix or they'd cap the JP amount.

Not sure what you mean by slow. There is always some large jackpots (over 200 mil) each year in MM. That's good enough for me. But, yes, doubling the price only means a decrease in sales which I dont think the increase in price will make up for.
