Why so much greed?
On your point about greed, I do not debate that greed exists, but I believe your use of the term greed does not apply to people who want to see a record Powerball or Mega Millions jackpot. That's mixing apples and oranges.

Are some places luckier for you?
speaking of some places being luckier than others... an oldie, not necessarily a goodie: is this still valid? was it ever valid? what are the numbers for places where tickets are sold, versus places where numbers are actually winners? is there a place to find that information? http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1077/is_n8_v46/ai_10806123Are state lotteries stacked against Blacks? If there was no cap.....
I understand but it doesn't make the game as fun as it could be. I mean all the better for Mega Million. They get to keep their record and by the way things are going they are going to be able to beat it themselves before PowerBall is able to.Brad

POLL: Powerball $340million jackpot
He is seeking professional advice on his windfall before he goes to claim it at the lottery office. I think you have to make appointments to see people like that it takes time. I think that the West's are the record powerball winners.

Gopher 5 could break record Tuethday
Sorry but WA quinto holds the record for a pick 5 at over 4.8 million. Got a long way to go to match that. It usually breaks 2 million at least once a year. Sadly it also is computer drawn now so I buy less tickets.

Oregon businessman has record Powerball lottery ticket
Steve West of Medford, Oregon, is a wealthy, wealthy man.West, a self-employed businessman, confirmed to ABC News that he and three other family members are the owners of the winning Powerball ticket worth $340 million. I still don't really believe that it's true, West told ABC News Radio. It just really hasn't sunk in well. I'm told by everybody else that this is a life-changing situation, and I didn't plan on wanting to change that much. I mean, the money always sounded great, but I didn't w

If there was no cap.....
It will take, at minimum, three more record jackpots for PB to pass the $400m mark. Mega Millions has all the time in the world to rocket over the $400m line.
