Canadian woman wins lotto twice
Canada only offers tax-free cash not annuities. This doesn't seem that odd considering she had multiple tickets for the same drawing. If she had won several drawing than that would be interesting.

10 Worst Lotteries To Play
At least Canada's lifetime games ALWAYS have a cash option. Most US for-life games don't; even VA offers a paltry 520k. BTW annuity prizes in Canada are taxed on the interest, not on the prize itself.

Searching for old cold number research..

Who Here Only Plays Powerball?
I live in Canada so I don't play Powerball or Mega Millions. If I was in the United States I would try the games. The jackpots get very high.

By 2008 all US residents visiting Canada (and versa vice ) will need to carry a passport. I wonder how much of a hassle it will be crossing the border by car.

6/19-last top prize in Unlucky for Life?
I'm sure Match 6 is a stronger game than Unlucky for Life. M-6 has inspired a number of similar games in the US and Canada.

Unclaimed lottery tickets
There was also a case in Canada where a man tried to pull the same thing and he lost. I think if you win the lottery before you get divorced expect to give you spouse half or at least some.
