Mega Millions starting jackpot
Okay ...Tonite's BG jackpot is 15 MIL ........... if nobody hits the big money .... Tues will be at least 20 ............. and if nobody hits Tues ........ the last BG jackpot goes into the first MM jackpot.Now my question is ... considering each new MM jacpot will stat out at 10 MIL ... what are we looking at (range)for the very first MM?

I do believe you are still allowed under federal law to change your choice from cash to annuity or vice versa within 60 days of winning.I hope PlayBigGame.com gets back online for Mega Millions. I'm way too far away from any Big Game Mega Millions state to be able to play. :\

minor criticism: Mega Millions
I agree on your criticism of the 2nd-tier prize. Should have been $200k - $300k. I also wonder what people who live in states with similar game names think. For example, Ohio has a lottery scratch game called Mega Millions. Massachusetts has Megabucks and Mass Millions.Maybe they should have made the odds 1 in 250 million and called the game Mega Billions .-Todd

$330 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot nears record high
Please bear with me; I am going to post a lengthy description of odds calculations for multiple ticket purchases. Please follow the logic, and don't get frustrated. Some folks here are having a difficult time with the mathematics of odds calculations. My guess is that dealing with huge numbers is causing a problem for them. Maybe if we talk about small numbers, things will become clear. After all, the subject of mathematics works the same way no matter how big or small the numbers are.
