Here we go again changing the game.
Lucky day lotto going with a 5 of 45 matrix starting July 13th.
Can hear the promotion before it starts.
We made the game harder to win so you can win bigger jackpots everyday even twice a day and don't forget unezmatch!
So have an unlucky day lotto.
Like we need another reason to quit playing in Illinois

According to my retailer there is a new national lottery game coming
Eh, mixed. I like that they are going to have 10s to 100s (their words) of millionaires when the jackpot gets hit. But with their 2 current jackpot games there is no reason they can't do the same thing by tweaking the odds structure and reserve pool a bit. I tend to look past potential winners and see the math. For starters, the payout is only going to be about 54%. At $5 a pop I would expect more than that. Overall odds of 1 in 10 on a $5 game? I can get better odds on a $1 scratch-off. The cap

Mega Millions multi-state lottery to get harder to win in Oct.
I sent an email this morning to MM and got this reply from someone at the Ohio Lottery.
Thanks for your inquiry. The game is changing but not the price point. The number of balls to choose from is increasing which will allow for larger and more jackpots. Also, the game will have a starting jackpot of $15 million!

So, I may still play, but I really don't like the increase of the odds.

Do we lottery players have any rights in game changes?
It ticks me off that they are changing Hot Lotto ... GRRRRR!!! I just started playing this game not too long ago.
If you go to Wikipedia and type in Hot Lotto, you can find a comparison of odds payouts between the current and new game.
At least they are increasing the payouts for the lower prizes. My only hope is that I can win more of the lower prizes while I wait for the BIG ONE!!!
Note: I **WOULD HAVE** posted the link to this, but I got warned by Lottery Post that if I do this

Do some number combinations have better odds?
No, he wasn't mistaken, I have found a way to increase the return on specifically the New Jersey Cash 5 to about 80 cents per dollar. (I didn't do the math, it may be closer to 75 cents/dollar.) Although he didn't describe the process, so let me be clear, IT DOES NOT CHANGE THE ODDS OF WINNING. It does, however, help you win more in states which have pari-mutual prizes. It can very slightly help you in other states as long as the JP is progressive on the game your playing. It won't help at all a

IS this POSSIBLE
Most of the jackpot players, in my honest, humble, and math-based opinion, are hoping for a lucky break on that HUGE win for instant millions. There's nothing wrong with it as it's actually very exciting to think about and dream on the possibilities...someone experiences such a win here and there. This is what keeps players in that particular faction going every week. It's the chance at a life-changing sum of money for a few bucks.
Then, there's the small game groups which consist of people l

Powerball at $2.00 - Does a $2.00 ticket = $1.00 ticket with $1.00 Power Play?
We have not seen $100M plus jackpots in the new PB game matrix, but there have been like 3 jackpot winners under $100M. The 336M jackpot won in Rhode island does not count in the new PB game matrix because it had tickets sales from the old game matrix.
The PB is producing life changing jackpot winners in the $40M to $100M level. I will feel great if I hit a $40M PB starting jackpot.
The PB game is a good value at $2 because we do have to wait for it to jump from $20M to $40M.
I

Are pre-draws corrupting your lottery strategy ?
Hi,
Since when is hidden data in the form of pre-draws fair game
It adds an extra element of unpredictability that gives everyone the same chance of winning.
Changing the dynamics of the game gives everyone the same chance of winning.
Call me names, try to discredit my math skills, or try any other type of charater assissination, but the fact is that you need to adjust to the very methods you are complaining about.
Good luck

Something you might not know: Some Psychology...
Yeah it might be by law but they are doing that for their bussiness to keep the bussiness afloat...What does a lottery got to lose if they lose: 10 million for this year but that same 10 million will return to them next year...They are not losing anything...
the encryption that they will use is something similar to chess, arranging the parts to elicit a particular response...
i am talking about a mini supercomputer used by the people that work in the lottery...and you know something more w

Ohio Lottery audit begins next week
To someone just looking at the cost of staff needed to have daily ball drawings, computer drawings might look like a worthwhile alternative. Ohio have made several stupid lottery decisions in the past by getting advice from non lottery people on saving money and later went back to the old way of doing things.
Years ago they took the advice of someone who suggested a $20M limit on the amount a lottery ticket was worth even if more money was in the jackpot. People stop playing and a year later
